I am so pleased for MCR! Clearly though that 17k is a very frontloaded fanbase purchase - so I expect to see it barely in the top 10 by Sunday. A shame P!nk has fallen so far out of the ten already, I expected the GH to be a massive consistant seller in the run up to Christmas but for some reason it hasn't caught on.

 

And just :lol: at 'All Time Low' climbing again. That song really is like herpes.

People who are so against charity singles really need to have a good look at themselves, WTF, its for charity! Creating awareness and money for the disadvantaged, i dont like the song, but who gives a s*** its making money for people who need it and maybe more importantly creating awareness for a cause! Bludy hell its pathetic and disgusts me when people are so openly against giving money to charity, yes people can give money in other ways THEY DO, but this is one way! FFS.

Anyway hope it continues to make loads of money for those who need it.

Amazon had about half a dozen copies on that '£' offer ... so I doubt Take That need to credit Amazon for their lead though.

Yayy for MCR, they really needed to be top 5 today to have a good shot of top 10 on Sunday. "Danger Days" is rather magnificent, hopefully over 17k means it'll be close to 40k by the end of the week which should be plenty.

 

I initially feared the album artwork not bearing their name may hinder them but there's hideous pink stickers on all the copies I've seen so far, and my local HMV was even stocking The Black Parade next to it which helps :P

Even if Take That get the number 1 album spot, JLS' sales aren't to be sniffed at.

Agreed. I'm sure they are well aware that they won't get the Number 1 album.. They can't really compete with Take That and have said so in various interviews

 

But their album will sell 100k+, which is still an achievement

They could even climb to Number 1 in a few weeks when their "This is JLS" show is aired
