Double elimination then. Long overdue frankly, 14 performances tonight felt like a lifetime, so 10 next week sounds reasonable.

Katie/Mary/Wagner bottom 3? Seems fairly predictable but the other four seem to have done enough to stay for another week.

Rebecca - 9/10

Mary - 8.5/10

Matt - 8.5/10

Cher - 7.5/10

Katie - 7/10

Wagner - 7/10

One Direction - 6.5/10

I won't bother giving comments for the second performances I'll just list them here:

Rebecca - 9/10

Cher - 9/10

Matt - 9/10

Mary - 8/10

Katie - 7.5/10

Wagner - 6.5/10

One Direction 5.5/10

I will say the overall standard of the second performances was much more up and down than the first performances...

So then overall:

Rebecca - 18/20

Matt - 17.5/20

Mary - 16.5/20

Cher - 16.5/20

Katie - 14.5/20

-------------------- ^ Above my semi finalists

Wagner - 13.5/20

One Direction - 12/20

I really like Wagner....and from a talent side of things I want him to go....but really I'd have no problem with him making it to the final to annoy people at the expense of Katie.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Wagner gets through avoiding the bottom three.

I think Katie will automatically go with the least public votes with Mary and possibly Cher again in the bottom 2. I'm sure Matt and One Direction will be safe and I'd hope that Rebecca will go through as well.

OVERALL RANK (TONIGHT)

01st One Direction

02nd Matt

03rd Katie

04th Cher

05th Mary

06th Rebecca

07th Wagner

I'd really like Katie to stay through. She was absolutely on top form tonight.

And of course I'd love my Cher to avoid bottom 3!

Im assuming the person with the lowest public vote automaticaly goes and then the judges save someone from the remaining 2???

I voted 17 times for Wagner on bfs mobile :cheer:

Rankings-

1. Wagner- only fun 1 and he offends everyone :cheer:

2. Mary- love her

3-7. Everyone else

I don't actually think there will be a judges vote tommorow

Doesn't that usually stop after Week 7 ?

I hope Katie oes.

shes dreadful

Katie/Rebecca/1Direction should go

All utter dog poo

Yeah but we've had more contestants this year so we're a little bit behind.

Id love Rebecca, Wagner and One Direction in the bottom 3 with Wagner going although i am well aware my choice of top 3 wont happen.

it does usually- but maybe this year as there is more contestants, they'll limit it- next week they'll be 5 so I think then the two with the least votes will go

although it wouldnt surprise me if the two with the least votes did go straight home

assuming it does work the same way- I think Mary or Katie will go automatically and the other two will be Mary/Katie and Wagner

I would love Katie to be in the final, but I don't want her to win X-Factor and get saddled with $h!te songs, etc, so I suppose I won't be devastated if she goes tomorrow. I'd rather it be via the sing-off though than with her coming bottom.

At the end of the day, though Katie obviously has less voters, I think people who are Katie fans are probably very into her and will follow her career avidly, whereas people who vote for, say, Rebecca or Matt, might not buy anything past the first single, certainly the first album.

I realise that may be generalising but look at Joe: he must've had, what, at least four million votes or so in the final, yet his album sells about 1/40 of that.

Katie has a less generally-marketable style than, say, Leona (who in the Xmas prezzies stakes is marketable to teenage and younger girls and mums as well as just fans: don't know what demographic you'd try to market Katie to).

If Katie and Mary leave tomorrow I will still be somewhat happy cos Wagner will have a good chance of making the final (I think he has a good chance of winning floating voters!!!). Ideally it would be Cher and Mary, though I do like Ms Byrne, but out of the supposed 'bottom four' she's only my third favourite.

Wonder who would go if it was Katie v. Mary in the sing off :o I think It would surely go to deadlock (Louis and Dannii for Mary, Simon and Cheryl for Katie)

I thought Matt and Rebecca were awesome tonight, the best two IMHO. Katie was okay on Sex On Fire, but average on the 2nd song.
