I wouldn't be too certain about Brighton's chances either. Stoke City are usually good at home.

It's unfortunate for Brighton that Stoke are almost safe in the league so they are likely to try to get as far as they can in the Cup.

f***ing Man Utd. The one time I'll be happy for them to thrash an opponent they win only 1-0. Do you not realise how utterly unbearable my two flatmates from Crawley are going to be when they get back from Old Trafford? :manson:

How sober will they be though?

I put a fiver on both Brighton and Crawley to win today! Damn, that's a tenner down the drain...I thought Brighton could have at least pulled off a draw but to say that Crawley came the closest (considering who they were up against) is insane!

They left my flat in Sheffield at 8am, they were in Manc for 9 and on their way back now. My guess is they're completely w*n**red.

Edit: They've just rang singing "Sergio, Sergioooooooo" and "na na na na na ,na na na Matty Matty Tubbs, Matty Tubbs Matty Matty Tubbs!"

Everton, Crawley, Sheffield Weds and Notts County wins was £12,500+-1! :o

I had an accumulator on Brighton and Crawley and would have won a grand. I know it was wishful thinking but the odds I got of 250/1 seemed too good to miss - miracles happen sometimes, and I figure there was more chance of that happening than me winning the lottery! I'm not a big gambler but I do like a flutter every now and then, and do win big occasionally - I won £150 on a £10 X Factor bet a couple of years ago!

Quiet night ahead then

I really hate what Crawley stand for, but they ran Man Utd to the edge yesterday. Tons of my friends are Man Utd fans and last night I was telling them, their squad is really very poor (but then again so are Liverpool's, Chelsea's and Arsenal's...) and it was shown up yesterday. Bebe is complete w***, and Obertan definitely has too much hype about him. Then there are players like Gibson that will never make it at Man Utd imo. Then I go and see BBC have written a blog about it too!
A replay, well done Leyton Orient. They have been on a good run recently in the league, so I am not too surprised.
Arsenal will win the replay, but well done Leyton. Also it's never bad to make Arsenal play an extra game at this stage of the season ^_^
Chelsea's season is OVER :yahoo:

John Terry has said that Chelsea's players must "man-up" and "take responsibility". This is the same John Terry who, as captain, opted out of the penalty shoot-out at the weekend.

If there are five better penalty takers then why should he take one?

He probably still has memories of the 2008 Champions League final aswell...

You mean he's worse than Anelka and Cole? It just seems a rather strange thing to say when he has just opted out of taking a penalty. Leading by example would normally mean not expecting others to do something you're not prepared to do yourself.

Of course he will have had bad memories of the Champions League final but that attitude didn't stop Stuart Pearce taking penalties in Euro '96.
