The song behind today's advent calendar door is 'Soul Sound'! This was the final single released from the original line-up, and sadly is their worst selling single to date (which I think is ridiculous as it's one of my favourites) :(

Today's song is 'Too Lost In You'! This was released as the second single from 'Three' and peaked at #10, but it seems to be one of the favourite Sugababes songs from fans since it's shown as the most popular song on the iTunes 'Overloaded: Singles Collection'! It's personally my favourite Sugababes ballad.

Too Lost in You is great. Too bad it's sort of a cover though.

But that doesn't change the fact that it's awesome and that Heidi's third verse is amazing.

It's slightly inspired by that froggy track, sure, but Diane Warren wrote it for them!!!!!! That is reason enough to squee.

The fact that it's f***ing incredible with all those strings  is a whole different ball game.

The song behind today's advent calendar door is 'Nothing's As Good As You'! This was one of the tracks from the final album with Keisha, 'Catfights and Spotlights'.

The song behind today's advent calendar door is 'Good To Be Gone'! This was one of the two new tracks on the girls' first greatest hits, 'Overloaded: The Singles Collection', and was originally planned to be the second single released from it, however it was cancelled due to 'Walk This Way' with Girls Aloud being released for Comic Relief.

I've never really got into Good to be Gone. It just fell flat next to Easy I guess?

Edited by XXXO

Good To Be Gone is AMAZING. It's easily the best thing that they've nearly released.I was distraught it was cancelled. The song In Recline was due to be it's B-Side, so when it got cancelled they saved it for About You Now the cheap buggers.

The line "Coz that was some other girl, some other Red Dress" is epic. A nice little nod to Red Dress.

I remember when a little clip appeared on the Sugababes Myspace, it was just as i was becoming a loon and not too long after i starting using the Official Forum  It was incredible. I miss that place :(

And RE: Nothing's As Good As Good You, it's alright. But it's no where near the best on C&S, that's just insanity. There are far better tracks on that album. [Murder One, Side Chick, Hanging On A Star, Sunday Rain and Beware for example] oh, and Keisha's verse quite clearly makes this track.

The sixteenth song from the advent calendar is 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor'! This was a cover of the Arctic Monkey's #1 single, which they used as the b-side to the first single with Amelle, 'Red Dress'!

The seventeenth song behind the Sugababes Forum Advent Calendar is 'So You Say'! This was released as Siobhan's fourth and final solo single, and the second from her second album, 'Ghosts'. Sadly, it only peaked at a low position of #76, when it deserved so much higher. :(

I'm not a fan of this single but the song as an album track is really good! I still think that 'Sometimes' or 'Medevac' should've been the better singles choices.

The next song behind the Sugababes Forum Advent Calendar doors is 'Sugababes on the Run'! This was released as one of the b-sides on the girls' second single, 'New Year', which was released in December 2000.

Today's song behind the advent calendar is 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)'! The latest line-up covered it in the Radio One Live Lounge, which was their first performance with Jade!

Rabbit Heart is definitely the highlight of 4.0 either so far or probably of all their time.
