The next song from the advent calendar is 'Hole In The Head'! This was released as the lead single from the girls' third album, 'Three', and became their third UK #1 single!

 

The Royal Variety performance is one of my top5 Sugababes performances

That one is cool. Love it when the drums come up. But it doesn't sound live...

It isn't. It was pre-recorded vocals and they mimed it back on stage because of the dance routine.

 

It is live vocals, but it isn't live live vocals.

I'm not surprised that the vocals were pre-recorded, amazing performance though! One of my favourites ever.

Ah, I thought so.

 

Well it was amazing either way.

The next song from our advent calendar is 'Can We Call a Truce'! This was one of the album tracks from the girls' final album with Keisha, 'Catfights and Spotlights'.

 

I like Can We Call a Truce? Heidi and Amelle absolutely shine.

Can We Call A Truce is rancid.

 

Utterly vile.

I love Truce... :( It's very classy and brilliant track to end the album.

The next song from the Sugababes Forum Advent Calendar is the AMAZING 'Ace Reject'. This was originally going to be the third single from 'Taller In More Ways', however it was changed to 'Red Dress', which was rumoured to be one of the reasons why Mutya left, just yesterday 5 years ago! This song is just amazing, easily my favourite album track ever. :heart:

 

I love Ace Reject, although I don't think it should've been a single. It's not really single material.

 

I love Heidi's part, it's so emotional.

The next song behind the advent calendar is 'Freak Like Me'! This was the girls' first single with Heidi, their first single on Island Records, and their first #1! This song has been amazing to me since it's release. :wub:

Freak Like Me is amazing. Although I skip the live versions with Amelle and Jade, it just doesn't sound right.

The FINAL song from the advent calendar is the incredible Christmas song, 'Santa Baby'! The latest line-up recorded this for a promotional release last December, and also gave an amazing performance of it on the Christmas Top Of The Pops!
