Tbf even as a massive Gaga stan I know that BTW is a complete EY rip-off. It's just the delusional ones taking it too far and saying Lady Gaga influences Madonna

I LOVE that so much. I really hope 2012 sees the return of the cunty Madonna of old, she was far too nice during the Celebration/Hard Candy promo.

I want cunty Madonna back as well, what a legend (well obviously she is musically, I mean 'what a legend' personality wise in the modern way).
Madonna strikes me as the kind of woman who'd make a truly fabulous serial killer, showing no emotion and being oh so brutal and ruthless.

!!!!

*.* indeed.

I FEAR she will mellow with age but I hope not. Madonna is the ORIGINAL BITCH.

"I LOOOOATHE HYDRANGEAS."

I get this feeling she doesn't seem to LIKE Gaga ever since Born This Way was released. There's just something about her interviews giving that "I hate you bitch" kind of aura. And one thought they'd be good ever since doing the Saturday Night Live thing :\
Oh I dare say she's disliked her since day one, but if there's one thing she is (or at least used to be) its smart. She knows how to play the game.

Oh shame. I would've loved them two collaborating :(

Madonnas too much of a diva to work with

No, Madonna just has enough sense not to duet with Gaga.

What sense would that be?

Their collaboration would be epic ness, either that or Gaga is too fussy when it comes to work with others or having features. She's always ALONE.

It'd most likely be a disaster, with both of them trying to out-ego the other.

Madonna is FAR more fussy  She's only done a handful of collabs in her long career, Gaga's probably already done more!

I was going to say something similar. Gaga is a better singer, that much is fact, so there'd be that to contend with. There'd also be the inevitable 'Oh she's so old and irrelevant she can't even get a hit without tagging onto someone FRESH AND YOUNG' (referencing 4 Minutes) thing to contend with. Of course given her recent collabs with Nicki Minaj and MIA that last point is fairly MOOT, but Gaga is in a different league and her fans are, well, obsessive to the point of insanity (as are many Madonna fans it has to be said) and I doubt it would go down well with them.

If Madonna was to duet with anybody it should be Kylie. The two ultimate gay icons of the last twenty-five years in pop coming together, and it's not like either of them is at the peak of their popularity and could be accused of using the other to retain some relevance.
