Pretty damn good performance, gotta admit! :o I think I may be finally coming round to 'Born This Way' now :( I'll just have to ignore the terrible lyrics.

The only way that a Lady Gaga performance could surprise me now if she sacrificed a live goat onstage whilst singing remixed vaudeville showtunes in a duet with Vanilla Ice.

The chereography was indeed something special, the organ/piano breakdown isn't that different from most of her live performances, but it offered a different pace to the song which was needed. Overall, thought it was indeed a great performance. Loved the finish aswell.

She also referenced the fact that she was 'inspired' by Madonna on the song. That still doesn't get you off scot free, Ms Stefani.

This, although I think she realises that there's only so much you can do, and she concentrated more on the dancing/chereography, and from what I can remember, it might very well be her best.

It depends on whether you begrudge her for that fact, to be honest I think it's suitably different from Express Yourself despite the clear influence. She clearly didn't think people wouldn't notice, or that she would get away from it - it's Madonna. It's harking back to the 80s and if you wanted to say it copied any song it would be this one

but again I think it's inspiration for a 00s version of that club classic rather than a rip off. Or maybe I'm very naive, who knows.
