Corey at #39, perilous position but I hope he can stay in, he deserves it!

Also I think I may be going mad, but I watched all of the Royal Variety show and I swear Kylie wasn't in it. I'm not even joking! I can't remember her being in it at all, what did she sing?!

She did, and she sung her current single 'Better Than Today'.

I will be PISSED OFF if a fourth-rate Kylie track knocks Corey out.

Same :(

Corey's track is pretty funny and I want it to be played on the chart show so people will have to say "OK, that guy from the angry, shouty metal band Slipknot can actually sing" :P

If he doesn't make the Top 40 though it'll be because he left it so late to promote his track. I think he only released the track for preview/the video about 3 days before the Christmas chart week?!

Think so. Thinking about it, it's bizarre that it's done so well when "Psychosocial" in a far weaker sales climate had loads of video rotation and still couldn't get anywhere near top 40

No, I used MRIB. And it was number 15 there. Which was equivalent to some midweek chart at the time. I don't worry to much about this word "Official". It doesn't count for much really. Every chart is correct at some point, depending on how it's compiled. The OCC lot have a lot to answer for as much as any other chart, especially when they to don't always research enough to include everything that has been paid for. It only happens to be a Chart broadcasted by Radio One, & they ain't got hardly any listeners anyway.

Then the thread is based on, & tributed to MRIB's Charts anyway.

How come the No5 in the OCC chart that week doesn't feature at all in the MRIB chart for the same week?

Think Twice was officially #5 that week I believe.
