Poor brave Alesha Dixon. :( If this doesn't ensure her career is over then I don't know what will.

Flop of the year: Alesha Dixon's album at 84.

So happy McFly managed to be non movers at 15! They were at 16 midweek so I was hoping they could manage it.

Yep and i think they could manage a 5th week top 20.

The album isn't doing to bad now and thought it would fall out of the 75 this week

Really disapointed with the performance of the new alesha dixon album.

Alesha could possibly save the album with a third single (I doubt it though). Presumably it sold enough to go top 50, if not top 40, a couple of months ago.

I was saying the same thing when I went into HMV this week! The four albums you mention were prominently placed at the front of store, in the new section. Robyn? You had to go to the genre section, where they had a few copies of it. It was the same deal for Jazmine Sullivan's album (though that was to be expected) and Nicki Minaj's (the week before). Maybe my local HMV is just rubbish?

If Robyn went Top 50 with a hit and releasing her album during a slow time of the year (saleswise) no way she can go Top 100 with same-ish sales and mostly the same material in December.

So many undeserved flops lately - Shayne, Joe, Nadine. But none of them did as bad as Alesha, which is just shocking! You would think with her profile, her last album selling over 300k she should get atleast top 40. Even though the lead single underperformed, it still went top 15.

If you don't separate the Faith Hill chart runs, this feat hasn't been achieved since 2005 at the very latest - my chart database only stretches back to 2006 at the moment and I can't find one single instance of it happening before.

 

I wouldn't normally separate the runs, but I have for this example as I can't provide a more satisfactory answer.

Gutting for Alesha, why is she flopping so bad this time though? I don't understand as she is the one of the most likeable person in the buisness & 'The Entertainer' is her best album by far :(
