IIRC, that was originally going to be the fourth single from 'TIMW', but they changed it to 'Follow Me Home', which was probably the worst decision they could have made.

Yes, I love Follow Me Home but eh, it flopped :P, and I think Gotta Be You is better.

I love it too, but I didn't like that they released it with Amelle's vocals when Mutya's verse was written for her daughter.

I heard that deciding to release 'Red Dress' was one of the reasons for her to leave. I don't understand, I like Red Dress. But beside that, I will always wonder what happened if they decided to not release 'Red Dress'.

I doubt that one of the reasons Mutya left was due to 'Red Dress' getting released, surely if it was the true and she told the label she wanted to leave they would have just changed the song? Then again, this is Island we're talking about.

Red Dress was supposedly the final straw. Both Mutya and Keisha hated the track, Heidi is it's only fan. Mutya was very very reluctant to even put down vocals for it she hated it that much. [You can clearly hear in her voice how little she can be arsed.]

I didn't know Keisha hated it too :o

Heidi's the fan of the song and she has the crappiest part....

I do see that in the original, Mutya does sound like she's not bothering with it that much, probably why I prefer Amelle's version. :P
