Good to see Corey Taylor still holding up well, hopefully he can get into the Top 40 chart. Great to see the Biffy original so high as well, much better than Matt Cardle's sycofied version. Surfin Bird' won't get to No. 1.
Popularity bars are crazy.
My pop bars only have Matt slightly ahead of Rihanna, I'm hoping mine are being slow.

Go Matt!

I'm very happy all the campaigns aren't working, yet. Hopefully it will stay like that for the rest of the week.

172. Fairytale Of New York - Alexa Goddard & Brett Domino

That tribute act girl is such a music slore! Is she going to cover every huge hit that can get her a few sales? Eew.

If Matt wasn't album only he would have so much more downloads
Glad Matt is doing well- I was all for a campaign last year because Simon really was taking the p*** with the winners song choice and it was a weak winner and Rage was something different so I was in full support, however, now the song choice is a lot better and these campaigns are starting to ruin the charts themselves, enough is enough imo

Pardon!

I think Simon Cowell ruined the charts a long time ago don't you think

No offence, but that's a silly statement as it makes no difference.

It's 99p for the 'album', ie the track and the audio message. If it wasn't album only, the track would be 99p. So there's no effect on sales.

well yes, his songs in the charts do get tiring- but these campaigns are now starting to ruin the charts as well- exactly the sort of thing they set out to prevent, as I bought RATM last year to prove a point-but its already been proven

I would never buy one of Simon's songs though - its just people will unfortunately

I wonder how much Amazon, Play etc. will count for? Surfin Bird' is No. 1 on both of them...

I thought that rumour of 'Many Of Horror' being the winner's single was just that, I guess no song is safe. :/

This isn't as bad as the likes of 'The Climb' and 'When You Believe' etc. though.

never mind his physical sales which will be massive, I reckon Cardle would win this easily on downloads anyway. There isn't a RATM competitor this year which will sell 450-500k and going on the voting figures, I expect much more than the RATM 500k figure is probably needed this year to have a chance

consistently the top rated contestant says he's going to have much more fans than last year's winner

WMY is on course of 100K +/- so on ITUNES for now Matt on Course of 300... + all the others maybe he can do a 500K...

Well since the campaigns have clearly failed on their arses... GO MATT :D

Hopefully 4'33" can outpeak 2 Minute Silence but it's really low at the moment :(

10. Many of Horror - Biffy Clyro

43. Many of Horror (When We Collide) - Biffy Clyro

:o Wow, this is doing brilliantly! Really hope it makes the top 10 :D

wow at Matts lead- he'll be very front-loaded but I'm glad for him :D his version isnt great, but its a LOT better than The Climb

Biffy's version is better though, so glad that will do well too - I never thought much of the song at first, but its finally clicked with me
