Go on Biffy, get that top 10! If Corey Taylor could go top 40 officially and the Trashmen could get top 5 that would be great :D

wow at Matts lead- he'll be very front-loaded but I'm glad for him

Actually, for an XF winner's song, it's not that spectacular, relatively speaking - 'just' 3.7-1. I've seen them 6-1 ahead...

But Rihanna had a massive boost from X Factor too, so not that accurate really

surely things like trashmen and john cage will fall as the week goes on once people see them failing.this time last year RAGE was no1 by a long way.i think he stayed no1 until thurday morning??

terrible that a song that hit no20 in january will be no1 on Sunday just because of a silly tv show - shows you that the people who watch it are clueless when it comes to music. lets hope biffy can go top 10 with the REAL version of Many of Horror!!

pit coldplay seem to be falling away just as the radio/tv play are peaking....maybe it will improve next week rather than this week?

It is more than 6:1 without Rihanna that was on the X factor too so that's really great.

I was hoping Rihanna would be #1 this week... :( Hopefully it'll do a Bad Romance and get #1 the first week of 2011?

Matt :puke2:

The Xmas tracks are hardly doing anything this year apart from Mariah & The Pogues.

It be nice for Biffy to get to #2, by having the top 2 tracks the same.

Well since the campaigns have clearly failed on their arses... GO MATT :D

Hopefully 4'33" can outpeak 2 Minute Silence but it's really low at the moment :(

10. Many of Horror - Biffy Clyro

43. Many of Horror (When We Collide) - Biffy Clyro

:o Wow, this is doing brilliantly! Really hope it makes the top 10 :D

Nice to see you supporting Matt! :o

Also you sound shocked at Biggy Clyro doing so well, ofcourse Many of Horror was going to shoot up, always gives the original exposure, also their album may benefit a lot too!

Matt's lead is huge! ^_^ and Rihanna #2 with a good lead of #3 :yahoo:

What's happening with Cheryl Cole's 'The Flood', not doing much yet is it?

He? RATM are a band

And I'd argue the opposite for The Trashmen in particular. They'll get the top 10 boost now. Also with John Cage, the more publicity he garners (even if it's negative for not charting great) will only bring more sales in. RATM only fell to #2 the week after Christmas last year, do you really think all 80,000-odd people who bought it that week did so by mistake? Hardly. The publicity did wonders for them, it fell very sharply the next week as it tailed off.

im talking about the itunes chart - did joe not get to no1 at some stage on xmas week only to be dethroned by the friday evening or something??

was sooo xciting this time last year.remember just coming on to check the mids thinking joe would be miles ahead to find RAGE double the no2 on itunes!!

The Xmas tracks are hardly doing anything this year apart from Mariah & The Pogues.

It seems unlikely to happen but you never know. I don't see another 'Hallelujah' style Xmas top 2 happening.

I'm still interested in hearing Matt's studio version. Last night his first performance of 'When We Collide' was vocally all over the place, but after he won and sang it again he sounded a lot better until all the others joined him on stage and he was overcome with emotion.

I still think Matt could potentially be a really good X Factor winner. If his bands' material is anything to go off, Matt's second album could be great. Obviously he's stuck to the X Factor contract for 12 months.

Sooo happy for Matt.

Hope he gets the No.1, these campains are pathetic and stupid.

Also, GO BIFFY!

another #2 for rihanna it seems :( hope it's #1 in the new year and even not it's still selling great!
Matt's nearly selling the top 20 combined.. and he's been on less than 12hours. I predict Massive sales.

S&M by Rihanna up to #77! :o Am I the only one finding this weird that it's doing so well with absolutely no promotion? Has it got its radio premiere yet?

Also, can't believe Like a G6 is already out of the top 10! :o I thought it'd be around for ages. Perhaps it'll climb back in, as a surprising amount of songs have managed that this year (The Time, Katy On a Mission, We No Speak Americano).
