Posted December 7, 201014 yr Take Me Out is back! The provocative, cheeky and electrifyingly funny dating show - where it really is first impressions that count - returns with even more fun in the sun as the potential love birds jet off to the ‘Island of Love’ Matchmaker Paddy McGuinness is back to fix up a host of sexy single ladies from across the UK in the hope of finding a match made in heaven. Each week, four brave bachelor boys will have to impress Paddy’s flirty thirty to try and bag themselves a date. But if the girls don’t like what they see then the boys face a black out and a trip back home alone. This year, the lucky couples who do find their dream date will be whisked off to the exclusive sun-kissed ‘Isle of Fernandos’ where they'll get to indulge in a range of activities including horse riding, wine tasting, helicopter rides and spa treatments. Here's to Cupid travelling alongside them. Returns this Saturday, the 11th December, straight after The X Factor at 9pm. The ratings could be excellent, considering that it has XF as a lead-in, and it won't be clashing with SCD either :cheer:
December 7, 201014 yr I think it's terribly tacky, but it's one of those stupid shows that you can't help but love :(.
December 9, 201014 yr There's an irish version of this now, except they're insanely picky and about 9 times out of 10 there's a blackout. There was even an episode recently that was filled with just blackouts. It's a poor man's Blind Date Edited December 9, 201014 yr by Sabrewulf
December 12, 201014 yr I should hate this but it is absolute genius. So many golddiggers and slags it is actually amazing.
December 12, 201014 yr Isn't this Reality TV? Would someone please move this? X Factors ending and i'd quite like to have some activity in the forum between now and next August  I agree this is car crash TV, in that you can't help but watch it, whilst hiding behind a pillow because it is so cringe worthy
December 12, 201014 yr Amazing. Just amazing programme. Car crash TV but brilliant. But could you imagine the controversy if the roles were reveresed and it was men picking a girl?
December 12, 201014 yr I agree this is car crash TV, in that you can't help but watch it, whilst hiding behind a pillow because it is so cringe worthy Yes you can ... just don't! I saw one episode of this the last series (because I like Paddy McGunness) but this is sheer drivel. I suppose though that ITV have to have some shows made for £1.27 to offset the 'once-in-a-blue-moon' more expensive, decent, stuff in the their schedule. And didn't Cilla do something like this 20 years ago, albeit with less brain-dead bimbos and meat-head morons! I don't like Paddy McGuinness anymore! Kath Edited December 12, 201014 yr by Kathyp
December 13, 201014 yr I watched this for the first time on Saturday. And instantly hated it, and everything it stood for, and therefore wished death upon everyone involved in the production. However, I can unfortunetly see myself continuing to tune in every week for this rubbish. It defies 'so crap it's kinda good'. Paddy as a presenter just seems charmless to me, the women for the most part seem shockingly unlikeable, and the men somehow even more so. Possibly the worst aspect however is how this would never see the light of day if the gender roles were reversed. Perhaps I'm just being overdramatic and should just shut up and accept it for what it is.
December 18, 201014 yr I swear the guys always go for which ever's sluttiest. Lucy was so much more interesting than that slag he chose tonight. Better looking too.
December 18, 201014 yr I find it amusing that last week the guy wanted someone clever [the last guy] then went for the thick slag.
December 18, 201014 yr It's just a bunch of desperate girls  it really makes me cringe the whole thing, had to watch it all of course
