December 8, 201014 yr Author Adele is the new best song... MASTERPIECE, and Kesha is such a stupid "singer"... no composition for me but maybe for the public Kesha will win. Totally agree! No comparison! Adele is far better than Kesha! I've done this poll because two big releases is out same day, a UK and a US act. This year US acts dominated UK charts, which i hope it won't happen in 2011
December 8, 201014 yr Hopefully Adele. She's in a different league to Kesha. Her live vocals are just as impressive. I think 2011 is going to be her year.
December 8, 201014 yr I said top 3 for both, but I actually think RITD has a very good shot at #1 if it gets enough airplay.
December 8, 201014 yr Adele's songs (I've only heard two) are brilliant - can't wait to get the album. #1 Couldn't play Kesha's video - says it's blocked - sorry. #3 though. Edited December 8, 201014 yr by munchkin
December 8, 201014 yr Adele is in a completely different league. I hope she wins the battle, i know i'll be buying it. I agree 2011 she'll do so well.
December 9, 201014 yr Ke$ha deserves to be #1, her song is MILES better and I don't agree with all this hate toward her at all. She definitely is a better songwriter than Adele, she has a better personality and she has her own style/sound which makes her even more artistic. If only she released a ballad like Blind or The Harold Song, these haters will actually see she has a good voice and can sing

December 9, 201014 yr  Somebody tell me i haven't read this! And me! What can you reply back to that bizzare comment...
December 9, 201014 yr Ke$ha's songs, lyrically, are much more out of the ordinary and her ballads much more deeper in comparison to Adele's whose songs, lyrically, are same old same old and far from groundbreaking. Ke$ha writes her songs so well that they're actually memorable, where Adele's songs are so dated and forgettable

Only yesterday was the time of our lives. We were born and raised in a summery haze. Bound by the surprise of our glory days. I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited, But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it. I hoped you'd see my face & that you'd be reminded, That for me, it isn't over yet. Nevermind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you too. Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said: "Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead"
December 9, 201014 yr Both will be top 3 I think, not sure where they will chart though. I'll say: Kesha: no.2 Adele: no.1 Edited December 9, 201014 yr by Jeronimo!
December 9, 201014 yr Adele versus Kesha... let's compare then! a singer > a pop puppet deep soulful voice > croaking childish one an inspired song > same sounding manufactured trash music-based product > image-based one British artist > American one The choice is obvious - Adele all the way!!! PS. I don't mind Kesha, to be fair.
December 9, 201014 yr I'm hoping that Ke$ha gets #1. Adele's song is good, but forgettable and very over-rated. I agree with most of the things that Katherine said...

Nah, nah, nah Not in the back of my car, ar, ar If you keep talking that blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, oh!" I don't think you can compare their lyrics. They have completely different aims. Nothing in any of Adele's songs is as ridiculous, cathcy or stupid as the lyrics in Ke$ha's songs. Ke$ha's not trying to make really deep, thoughtful lyrics, so of course Adele's lyrics are going to be "better". That's like comparing Just Dance or Telephone to an Eminem song. Of course Eminem's songs have better lyrics, since Just Dance is about a girl who's drunk on the dance-floor, and Telephone is about a girl in a club who doesn't want to answer her phone calls... I don't really see the point in comparing two completely different songs like that. Adele could NEVER, in her wildest dreams come up with lyrics like those found in Tik Tok, Blah Blah Blah, etc. Not because she's less talented than Ke$ha, but because that's just not what she does.

Comparing Adele and Kesha wasn't my purpose! I've said Adele vs Kesha because both come out same day with two songs which i think they will chart high! I think that some artists are meant to sing a specific type. As Adele can't sing something like Tik Tok (thank God :teresa: ), neither Kesha can't support a song as powerful and meaningful as Adele's songs!

As Adele can't sing something like Tik Tok (thank God :teresa: ), neither Kesha can't support a song as powerful and meaningful as Adele's songs! True. Ke$ha could never pull off most of Adele's songs (not that I want her to try ). I love what Ke$ha does though. Like how she can rap, and she can sing, but she can also do everything inbetween! :o Like she seems to be able to half rap and half sing at the same time, and she can do like 33% singing, 67% rapping or whatever. I don't know how she does that! Then throw some autotune and wanabe 8-bit in, and music to my ears!!
