Ellie is pure pish.

'Your Song'. Although 'Only Girl' has grown on me a LOT since I first heard it, it's still lacking something for me.

Ellie's cover of 'Only Girl' is sublime too!

It's basically Rude Boy over the instrumental of Over the Sheets! It's awesome!

Only Girl - Your Song is a good song, but not as good as Only Girl.

Quite easily 'Only Girl' and not just because it's original. It appeals to me more because there are influences of European dance music which will always get brownie points off me. Even though the verses and chorus sound like they're from two completely different songs it all works really well together imo.

 

It's one of those songs I've really liked since the very first time I heard this and despite hearing loads over the last six weeks, I'm still not bored of the song. There's just something really appealing about the track for me.

When I listen to Ellie's version of 'Your Song' I hear a very English accent. Not that it's a bad thing. The Americans would love this!!! :lol:
