February 12, 201114 yr Some members on ESCtoday are saying that Jedward have a lot of time to "improve on their vocals". Sorry, but they've had two years already and haven't gotten very far! :( It's just so annoying that they can't sing. Don't think I can support Ireland this year, I'm afraid. Song is likable and catchy, but the performance was horrendous and will most likely stay horrendous in May... Ah well. If Stella wins MGP then I'm changing my flag back to Norway! :P Edited February 12, 201114 yr by Cal
February 12, 201114 yr Does anyone know of a download link for Nikki's Falling as my YouTube rip is not very good. Thanks :)
February 12, 201114 yr Jesus motherf***ing Christ. Mother of GOD. This is the story of Ireland Pity us, for we are doomed to make crap decisions for all eternity. We should just let another country choose our songs for us. :drama: Edited February 12, 201114 yr by Sabrewulf
February 12, 201114 yr LOL so much drama :drama: I'm almost sure Ireland will do pretty well this time :kink:
February 12, 201114 yr I'd think they could do well if if they could sing, but they can't, and that's a bit of a problem. I wish them luck but I can't see the vocals being any better then they were last night.
February 12, 201114 yr I've just listened to 'Lipstick'. I think it sounds A LOT like 'Miss Kiss Kiss Bang' the German Entry from 2009. The only difference is, i LOVE 'MKKB' and HATE 'Lipstick'. :puke2:
February 12, 201114 yr It's funny how a crap live vocal can ruin a decent studio version of a song.
February 12, 201114 yr Yeah, I much much prefer the studio version to the live version. They're almost like two different songs. I can't hear Jedward very well in the live performance.
February 12, 201114 yr Knew I shouldn't have got my hopes up, knew I shouldn't have believed Ireland could make the right decision. I'm so utterly disappointed in Ireland. :( We're a hopeless cause, global warming hurry up so the sea can engulf our terrible nation. It's not just this, but in our all ireland talent show....the acts I want to qualify very rarely do...and if they do it's usually just a second chance. I feel like a foreigner....like an alien who doesn't understand the ways of people he's surrounded with. I can't stop LOLLING at you in this thread. I think someone needs to get out more... ;)
February 12, 201114 yr Really glad for Jedward! :cheer: I hope they make the final, it will be nice to see them perform again :D oh, cheer up guys! its not THAT serious at the end of the day :kink: Edited February 12, 201114 yr by chart wizard

February 12, 201114 yr I can't stop LOLLING at you in this thread. I think someone needs to get out more... ;) I was mad, when a person is mad they post things that don't quite make sense. It's not a big deal, I'm over it. I think someone needs to get a grip and stop trying to get a reaction. (because that's clearly the only reason you posted that) (Well done by the way, you got your reaction) Well done you! ^_^ edit: If this had been about the world cup nobody would have minded. <_< Edited February 12, 201114 yr by Sabrewulf
February 12, 201114 yr Get a f**kin' life people! Its only a song contest - nobody's died! BTW ITunes UK has Jedward and the Vard Sisters available to buy now. Amazon UK has Shine On listed as available from 13th February. Edited February 12, 201114 yr by Shaky Fan
February 12, 201114 yr Get a f**kin' life people! Its only a song contest - nobody's died! Clearly. Although whether you like it or not people can and will be positive or negative about our entry this year. It's just peoples' opinions. I don't think it warrants a "get a f***in' life" response.
February 12, 201114 yr Clearly. Although whether you like it or not people can and will be positive or negative about our entry this year. It's just peoples' opinions. I don't think it warrants a "get a f***in' life" response. It absolutely warrants a "GET A LIFE" when someone's so worked up about the f**king Eurovision. "I spit on the Irish people" or whatever he said- PERSPECTIVE. :) Edited February 12, 201114 yr by b0nefish
February 12, 201114 yr Clearly Ireland haven't got the money to host Eurovision in 2012. :kink: So Jedward was always going to be the way forward. Let's face it, Ireland have sent some tragic songs to Eurovision over the last few years so 'Lipstick' (ie; poor mans 'Womanizer') does its job. I bet the Irish (with brains and music taste) must be thankful that Lady GaGa is #1 on their iTunes and likely prevent Jedward from scoring their second no. 1 hit. :D Even if people think 'Born This Way' is crap (I think it's a grower - once you get over the hidious rap halfway through the song it's not that bad) they'll be happy to see anything keeping Jedward off the top. Or at least that how I'm seeing it from an outside perspective. :D
February 12, 201114 yr I agree rte dont have the money to host the contest and they clearly dont want to win, but nikki kavanagh i think would have represented ireland brilliantly and would have done well but wouldnt win at the same time, i think nikki kavanagh would have had a chance of making the top 10 in the final which would be a great result for ireland. Instead we have a joke entry by 2 annoying screaching cats who cant sing for anything. And to top it of because they have a large kids fanbase it will probably be the most successful irish entrant in the uk charts for many many years.
