Here's a common question that has been going round the past few weeks.

 

Looking at their latest performances especially at the Jingle Bell Ball and the AOL Sessions, she's failed to belt out all the powerful notes. Their performance of Here Standing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgdgVOBBrUU...feature=channel) is another one where she can't sing it no more.

I think she's shy. She does really well the acoustic performances.

I think it's the smoking. Plus The Sats have been wayyyy overbooked. Ever since their debut they've been EVERYWHERE. The never get a break, and since Vanessa does most of the singing it's probably taking a toll on her the most.

She's been ill a lot recently. I know she was sick at AOL, that's why she didn't sing as best as she could do.

I see your point BUT there actually hasn't really been a standout performance personally from them this year. Yes they've had their moments (like at the Help For Heroes concert) but nothing spectacular. To be honest, they really need that career defining performance next year.
