Peak: #28 Just scraping in at #100, is Cherrytree Records protegee Natalia Kills, with her first teaser single, Zombie. I first heard this song when it was entered to BJSC by United States Of Jack, who also sent Leilani, so you can't have it all. This was one of my favourite songs of the first 2 months of 2010, despite only peaking at #28, bizarrely. I stopped listening, but when I heard Mirrors, a song to feature later, I began listening to this gem all over again! http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9435/51950135.png Pv4san1xIi0 i've become a slave to my habits, fiending for your love. Peak: #2 Another song here that I discovered from BJSC, this time sent by Theo (you see, he is good for something other than looning over mime artists) - it comes from Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester - it's obvious the reason why I love this, but it's generic pop with a dancey beat. What more could a generic boy want? http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/3631/81348393.png nmnjL26OBcY you could be the model type - skinny, with no appetite. Peak: #6 This was originally my favourite from The E.N.D, maybe just behind I Gotta Feeling - however, by the time it got to release early this year, I had heard it so much it got slightly boring (we're talking Black Eyed Peas, so that saying is common). Looking back on it, about 7 months on - it's still a good enough track to scrape in my chart. Once again, I have to say Apl.de.Ap steals this - the member that doesn't get enough credit, when he's much better than William. http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/9304/11471052.png QPm25m8DZpA baby how you do that, make a grown man cry? Peak: #9 I probably wouldn't have loved OMG if it wasn't for it being such a hit, of which the overplay actually worked for me - I heard it so often, it grew and grew and grew on me. And, what do you know, the awfully generic (and overrated in terms of sales) RnB track has managed to make it ahead of an instant favourite album track! Confusing times. http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/5052/81586023.png _MvdI7W7-Z0 let me show you what your missin’ - paradise Peak: #2 Justin Bieber. Buzzjack's biggest enemy (either him or Katy Perry haters) - personally I'm not a Bieber hater. Though, his most recent tracks are crap. One Time, I only just realised was released in 2010 - so that's not here. This is the first of two Bieber tracks - this one featuring fatty Sean Kingston, who tells us the meaning of indecisive (where you can't decide, incase you weren't sure) - it's infectious, I love it, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it! December 23, 201014 yr rock that body my favourite so far  omg and eenie meenie i like too and the other 2 i've never heard of. i'm quite liking both on first listen though
December 23, 201014 yr Author http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/9705/57447183.png u43wTjRzxco we must do, subtraction of your clothes... Peak: #05 Oh - Sidney Samson. The annual early year dance #02 in UK - but it could only reach #05 in here (which is rather good considering). Really, the song is a bit $h!t - and I'm not really sure why it's in the countdown. But, it is a bit of fun - that's the only reason I can think of. I must've been mesmerised by Katy Perry's creamy boob squirting to have been concentrating on this. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/3950/27168105.png -So9lXFt5rM she's electric, she's the current running through my veins... Peak: #14 Now this is a decent dance track. Admittedly, this was better at the time - and is an example (pun not intended) of a song that gets boring with time, but it's definetly worthy of a spot in the Top 100. His 3rd track, Kickstarts is definitely the opposite, and is still to come - but this was a nice enough follow-up to Watch The Sun Come Up, which should've got Top 100 of 2009, in reflection. http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/7075/99786543.png psuRGfAaju4 i'd rather stay awake when i'm asleep... Peak: #08 This really is a bunch of songs that were great at the time, but have worn off. Fireflies is a track that was great in like January, how to do sickly really well, and in relection, it is still fantastic, but doesn't have the same effect it had months ago. It's fair to say Owl City are a definition of one hit wonders, and definitely will not be appearing higher up with another track. http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/922/38935788.png LCH1AsUydSc surrounded by some bunnies, and it ain't f***in' Easter... Peak: #04 'One' came 101th on this countdown (ouch, Duffy can tell you how bad it feels to narrowly miss out on something like that!) - but the follow-up, Miami 2 Ibiza featuring Tinie Tempah (who has 3 songs still to come on this countdown), has narrowly made it in. It's pretty much the same as One, but the lyrics are part of the charm of this - in the way that you really want to learn the lyrics (woo, I learnt them). Still as good now as it was. http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/9228/14619024.png PzE5dS6fnFk difficile, immbocile, is it fake, is it real? Peak: #03 Mark Ronson returns with a brand new band on side, and with a brand new sound - Bang Bang Bang might not come close to the fantastic Valerie, but it's definetly very charming (and obviously the inspiration behind Cheryl Cole's Promise This) - a very catchy track, that gets you singing along. It did get boring quite quickly though..
December 23, 201014 yr So far I love Natalia Kills, Leighton Meester and BEPS. Can't believe I forgot Natalia & Leighton off mine. OH WELL. And 'Eenie Meenie' is unfortunaly a huge guilty pleasure.
December 23, 201014 yr 'Riverside' & 'Bang Bang Bang' are both terrible. 'Won't Go Quietly' is really good, but I do prefer his most recent two singles. 'Fireflies' has been over-played. 'Miami 2 Ibiza' is really good, I prefer it to 'One'.
December 26, 201014 yr I love everything so far except for the average OMG! Keep on going, where's the next segment :o
December 26, 201014 yr Author 90 Leona Lewis - I Got You X0r2VkvoSVo go ahead and make me cry, i'll be alright... Peak: #06 So, on first listen - I couldn't believe she'd released this. It was a bit $h!t to be honest, mainly down to the fact I couldn't understand a word she was saying in the chorus. Though, diction has never really been Leona's strong point! Despite not being able to understand a word she was saying, about 2 weeks later - I still decided I really liked this track. Catchy little number - though releasing this over Outta My Head is still ridiculous IMO. 89 Sugababes - Wear My Kiss 68D4GB6zJFc i'm like the last piece on a mannequin, just take me down... Peak: #01 My first #01 appears at a very low #89 - though, when you look at the song it probably doesn't surprise you. The song is pretty much the definition of 'hot mess' - including the video, though that was more 'mess' than 'hot' - what with the ties just copied and pasted into the shot. I can see why I liked this song, as it's catchy girlband pop - but looking back it's not really a #01 kinda song. Hang your head in shame, Mr Robot. 88 Yolanda Be Cool - We No Speak Americano GgFE5OQbt_g si tu le parle 'mmiezzo americano? Peak: #05 A more severe case of 'hate it on first listen - love it on the tenth listen' right here. If you look back at the 'We No Speak Americano' thread - I called this one of the worst tracks of 2010. 5 months down the line - and it's the 88th best track of 2010. How times have changed?! I'm not quite sure why I put this in my Top 100 thinking of it - though it doesn't hurt to have a bit of novelty in the chart (mind you, Sugababes are #89). 87 Marina & The Diamonds - Oh No! Cr-SqRWImmI i know exactly why i walk and talk like a machine... Peak: #08 This is the track that had Buzzjack going wild, it was #01 in the Multichart and everything. Personally, I really liked it - though I didn't get the hype about it, and I don't think it's aged as well as Hollywood, which is still to appear. Oh No! is another example of catchy pop, which explains why I like it, but I think there's something missing about it that stops it from being much higher on my chart. I just can't put my finger on it. 86 Taio Cruz - Dynamite VUjdiDeJ0xg i'm gonna be the last one standing... Peak: #02 This is absolutely terrible, if we're looking at lyrics. I mean seriously, I wrote better songs than this when I was about 9 (and trying to write the next Sound Of The Underground - oh god!). The main reason this is in my chart, is because this song reminds me of Summer 2010, and we all like to think about the summer. Standing at Freedom Festival, in the pouring rain - everybody is doom and gloom. Then this comes on, and raises spirits. It's a happy summer song with good memories! December 27, 201014 yr YBC make your top 100 after you initially dubbed it 'the worst song of '2010'
December 27, 201014 yr Your Love's A Drug, Eenie Meenie and We No Speak Americano   . I like Dynamite :).
