Good evening all :)

over the past year, the reshuffle chart has been active- it is a chart in which you simply order the weeks official top 10 in order of preference, Theo has been doing this for the past year and has been compiling a Year end chart based on all the points received weekly, I then took over towards the latter half and I have finished and compiled the results that he started and over the course of this week I will be revealing out of all the 150 songs that have made the UK top 10 this year, which songs Buzzjackl have loved and which they haven't so much and of course- the identity of BJ's favourite top 10 hit of the year

I will be doing this in groups of 20 each with a selected impartial (as possible) commentary at the bottom until the top 20, in which I will go into full detail on each song, along with a video and professional ( :kink: ) commentary at the bottom until we get to the number 1

so the songs finishing 150-131 will be up shortly- until then, speculate, predict- remember this will cover the full year, so which tracks will be the biggest winners and losers, and will there be any surprise packages?

special thanks goes to Theo, for managing this for most of the year and starting off compiling the countdown :D

Well, the songs that will finish at the bottom will probably be songs Buzzjack hated, that spent ages in the top 10, so they would've accumulated lots of votes over the weeks, or *shudder* months.

OMG springs to mind. Also Baby by Justin Bieber. Also, all the Simon Cowell songs, except I don't think a lot of them spent too long in the top 10. Katy On a Mission aswell. The Club is Alive too, although that was only top 10 for 3 weeks.

OMG will likely be last as a combination of hate and longevity. Hopefully Baby will be last though.

150. Justin Bieber Feat. Ludacris · 'Baby' [10-10-10-10-10-x] [ -357 Points ]

urban songs, songs about the joy of sex and/or females body parts, cheesy, sentimental ballads, Cowell- fronted charity singles, songs about how amazing the singer is and how he wants to be this, boybands full stop, songs about a mans woes and struggles often told aggressively, any song with the word 'shawty', teen idols and songs sung by them that appeal to children and pre-teen girls- what do all these things equate too? well, a hit for sure- but if you add in the fact the singer is male then you pretty much have a definition of the type of music Buzzjack doesn't like, this bottom 20, who managed three figure minus totals, is unsurprising in every sense

amongst these we have:

teen star Justin Bieber's top 3 hit and the peak of what was a very big year for him, doubtless a lot of members on here including myself would've rather that we could still imitate Ozzy Osbourne's latest thoughts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-o2Q5LQUVw

80s band Journey whose hit Don't Stop Believing reached the top 10 this year for the first time in 27 years last year, and went on to be used in endless montages and features- its popularity was helped even more by the fact Glee did a far more BJ friendly version

Cowell's organised charity cover of REM's classic Everybody Hurts in aid of the tragic earthquake which struck Haiti at the beginning of the year- sold by the bucketload and received the highest selling first week sales of the year with 453,000 copies sold

Another Cowell mastermind- this time for the World Cup- featuring rapper Dizzee Rascal and comedian James Corden, recording a version of Tears For Fears- Shout, changing the lyrics to match the world cup- it sold by the bucketload, but it couldn't be less BJ-friendly if it tried

Dance producer Sidney Samson's re-recording of his originally instrumental hit Riverside, featuring new vocals from the charmingly titled Wizzard Sleeve- not really a song that would appeal to housewives really, nonetheless, it reached number 2 in January

The X Factor Finalists of 2010 this year did a cover of David Bowie's classic Heroes and like all their releases went to number 1- although continue the downward trend in overall sales for these releases

Scouting For Girls got their first number 1 ever with This Ain't a Love Song in March, staying there for two weeks- you'll love it if your a fan, not so much if your not

Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow's duet of Shame- the first time they performed together in fifteen years, to coincide with the reunion of Robbie with Take That- surprisingly to some, it charted at number 2

and Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber's collaboration about an indecisive girl using the incredibly credible concept of a children's nursery rhyme- whoever thought up this collaboration, or the idea, obviously had something against the public

Key: cover/version= murder

I need to go and have my dinner now, I will back with the next 20 later tonight :D

The Club Is Alive higher than One Shot :o

length in the top 10 is crucial in this game- One Shot spent 5 weeks there, so its popularity went down- TCIA only spent 3, it would have been far lower had it spent longer

137. JLS · 'One Shot' · [7-6-7-8-x-9-x] · [ -122 Points ]

143. Eminem · 'Not Afraid' [7-8-6-8-8-10-x] [ -176 Points ]

I think those two songs are really good. :( I think they're hated due to the artist, rather than the music.

here we have more of the same standard anti-buzzjack fare, although a far more pop feel than the last 20's urban feel, and- brace yourselves- this section features FOUR songs featuring female vocals, one of which is a solo female song :o :o :o :o :o

amongst this section we have:

UK boy band The Wanted's second hit, which charted at number 2 following the chart-topping success of All Time Low, which featured earlier- another week and they would have got two songs going under -100 points to match JLS

Travie McCoy's first and only solo hit this year which reached number 3 in August and prevented from the chart, by the above band, The Wanted, which featured vocals from Bruno Mars, who has a song yet to come- a song bragging about how amazing his life will be when he is rich and a typical American view on the lifestyles of the rich and the famous- are Buzzjack interested? not remotely

Boyzone's comeback hit Gave It All Away, looking to be a flash in the pan - the song found new success this year after the public attention following the death of band mate, Stephen Gately and a lot of promotional slots earnt them a very successful first quarter of the year for the band, it charted in the top 10 on two occasions at 9 and 10 respectively before plummeting down both times- giving it quite an odd chart run

Iyaz's second top 3 hit following from the success of Replay, like Heart Vacancy, the flash-in-the-pan nature of this stopped it from going under -100 points, something which Replay didn't have

Westlife's 25th top 10 hit (just) which almost wouldn't have made the reshuffle chart at all had the week gone on longer

Leeds United FC's official song was released for download and made the top 10 in May- thankfully, this seemed to be exclusive to this football team and other songs from Football clubs didn't follow

Nelly's comeback top 10 hit, which reached number 8 in November

one of the first ever dubstep hits, Katy B's debut oddly titled 'Katy on a Mission' which reached the top 5 in September and our first song with just female vocals to feature , there was a section of Buzzjack who liked this- they won't be happy about who's two places ahead of it.....

Irish X Factor twins Jedward's first and only hit this year, which reached number 2 in February, following a controversial stint on 2009's X Factor

US singer Mike Posner's debut song- the song was helped a lot by its use on the X Factor and became a top 5 hit in October

Ne-Yo's comeback hit and third number 1, albeit with less of the charm and success of his last era

JLS's 4th number 1 and the official Children In Need single for this year is their most liked on BJ (or least hated would be more apt) and manages to be the only JLS song to not go below -100

Jay Sean's 4th top 10 hit and the first for Nicki Minaj (one of the few female vocalists in this group), like Ne-Yo, he seems to have lost his spark somewhat from his last era

and finally producer and UK singer Labrinth's first solo top 10 hit which charted at number 3 in October who oddly enough comes from Simon Cowell's record label - from the producer of Frisky and Pass Out, you could've expected something a bit less dreary

well that took a while but there you go  I will see if I can get 110-91 up before midnight, but that will be it- if not, this will continue tomorrow afternoon or evening

Edited by chart wizard

^ Yeah, I never got that with Labrinth either. He makes a song like Frisky, and then he releases Let the Sun Shine? Like seriously? I thought judging by his songs with Tinie he could've come up with something a tad more interesting...

here is the next 20 as we enter the top 100 and veer closer to the positive pointers:, amongst this group we have:

both entries for Must Be the Music (like X Factor, but more focused on finding an artist than finding a singer/money for Cowell) winner Emma's Imagination, known by her mother as Emma Gillespie- who scored two top 10 hits in September as a result of songs being available to download after they performed them- what the future holds for her and if she can ever get another top 10 hit remains to be seen

Robbie Williams' 28th solo top 10 hit, that managed to stay in the top 10 for this year too

UK R'n'B singer McLean's first and only top 10 hit this year

N-Dubz's second and last appearance in what is BJ's least hated song by them this year, rightfully so as well, the song also features Dance duo Bodyrox who dispelled themselves from the 'one hit wonder' category this year but appearing with N-Dubz on this song, which featured in the film 'StreetDance', it was N-Dubz's third top 10 hit, peaking a number 6

Both hits for X Factor 2009 runner up Olly Murs appear here- with his debut, which reached number 1 in August, charting slightly lower on here than his follow up which reached number 4 four months later- so BJ weren't keen, but nonetheless Olly has had a phenomenal year along with impressive album sales and in terms of sales has outperformed the winner that year, Joe McElderry, (although oddly he has outperformed him on here, but his song only spent a week in the top 10) this marks the third year in a row that an XF runner up has outperformed the winner following Rhydian and JLS (although in the latter, the winner of that series, Alexandra has also been very successful), whether this happens again with this years runner up Rebecca Ferguson remains to be seen

The Script with their comeback hit which gave them a second top 5 hit in September, if you liked their previous stuff, you'll like this too, if not, you probably won't

Flo Rida with his massive summer smash and second number 1 which featured a production slot from the producer of the moment, David Guetta, it also got a boost (although it would've been a massive hit anyway) from appearing on the Step-Up 3D soundtrack

UK soul singer Adele's cover of a song originally written and sang by Bob Dylan, it is the fourth overall cover version of the song, Adele's was the only one that made any impact here- charting at number 26 in November 2008, thanks to a performance by an auditionee on the X Factor, the song outpeaked its original peak by two places, following extensive use on the show, including a live performance of it by Rebecca Ferguson, it made the top 10 on separate occasions, reaching a high of number 4, this is her highest charting peak since Chasing Pavements made number 2 earlier in 2008, she has new material out next year, doubtless this new mini-revival will have boosted her profile and will help with her new material- she could even better Duffy, who despite besting her in every way in 2008, has flopped this year with her comeback

a surprisingly effective collaboration of Florence and The Machine and Dizzee Rascal, combining the hits You Got The Love (which is still to come) and Dirtee Cash, which reached number 10 for Dizzee in 2009, the performance on the BRITs was available to download after the show was aired, thus peaking at number 2 in the charts- its an interesting combination of a BJ friendly act and non-friendly act

Christian rock group Delirious? enter the charts for the first time ever thanks to a Facebook group who wanted religious music on top of the charts at Easter- it failed unsurprisingly, but still got the rather U2-sounding band a top 5 hit, albeit one that dropped out of the top 40 the following week- it did pretty well to get top 100 on here

Guillemots lead singer Fyfe Dangerfield's cover of the Billy Joel classic, given a boost thanks to its use on the John Lewis advert (the adverts influence is also apparent further up the charts), it gave him a first solo top 10 hit and gave the original its first appearance in the top 40, its a shame that all we'll know of him charts-wise is a cover, his original material would have been very interesting. Pity

an original 1996 hit Three Lions has become regarded as the ultimate football classic, it first made number 1 in 1996, it has charted four other times once hitting number 1 again, it reached number 10 here and the fourth time its reached the top 10, as a result of the nation getting behind England in this years World Cup, what a lost cause that was, this was rather embarrassing as a new version recorded by The Squad failed to reach the top 20- there may be a sports forum on here, but on the chart forum, football is not welcome and neither is this song

Dubstep due Magnetic Man, who came out of nowhere to score the first ever dubstep top 10 hit- its lowly placing reinforces the fact BJ isnt really ready for dubstep yet

Professor Green's second and last top 10 hit of the year which sampled Dub Be Good To Me by the Beats International which reahced number 1 in 1990, that itself sampled Just Be Good To Me by the SOS band in 1983, changing 'me' to 'green', his version got to number 5, Lily's vocals probably helped this song do decently here, a confident rapper boasting about how amazing he is and how bad he is in a cockney accent was never going to appeal to BJ

Will Smith's 9-year old Daughter, Willow Smith who got her first (and hopefully last) hit recently reaching number 2- marking the first appearance in the charts from someone born in the 2000s,

after the success of last years campaign to stop the X Factor winner getting to number 1, there were many that started this year- the most popular was one to get Bird Is The Word by the Trashmen to number 1- sadly when the first mids came in, it was a fail from the start, although it was incredibly amusing watching the bird-brained members thinking they had a chance, in the end the song made a distant number 3, last year, Rage was preferred to Joe, this year though, even on Buzzjack, Matt beats the Trashmen and Surfin Bird is at 92

and finally Mark Ronson, who got his fourth top 10 hit this year with then quite unknown stars Q-Tip and MNDR, the odd but intriguing sounding Bang Bang Bang makes up the list

sorry for rambling a bit there  the next 20 will be up tomorrow afternoon most likely, btw please feel free to comment on the chart those who do this regularly, so far only Eric has contributed a lot :(

Gosh, that McClean song was so boring.

And Magnetic Man didn't really "come out of nowhere". Well, they sort of did, as a group under that name, but Magnetic Man consists of Skream, Benga and someone else (Artwork or someone, if I remember correctly), who were all established artists I believe, or at least the first two. As if it came 10th though!? :o It's such a magnificant song!

Q-Tip is hardly unknown, he was a member of A Tribe Called Quest and has been around ages as a solo artist as well.
  • Author

true, Q -tip was on the Chemical brothers song, Galvanize - but the average listener would probably find it hard to recall him, same with MM really, they weren't exactly THAT well known at the time- apart from dubstep fans, them even coming any where near the top 10 surprised me

anyway, next 20 up soon :D

88. Alexandra Burke Feat. Laza Morgan · 'Start Without You' [8-3-5-8-x] [ -26 Points ]

89. Michael Jackson feat. Akon · 'Hold My Hand' [9] [ -26 Points ]

90. Dizzee Rascal Feat. Daniel Pearce · 'Dirtee Disco' [5-7-x] [ -27 Points ]

amongst this bunch we have:

Dizzee Rascal's fourth number 1 featuring a guest vocal from Daniel Pearce, who auditioned for the 2009 series of X Factor, just missing out on a place on the live shows

Michael Jackson's posthumous comeback a year after his death, featuring guest (but mainly) vocals from urban singer Akon, the new album featured songs that were apparently in the process of becoming singles- cash-in? yes

UK rapper Wiley (for some odd reason, it is now 'Naughty Boy presents Wiley') with his second top 10 hit which samples the chorus line from one-hit wonder White Town's 1997 number 1 'Your Woman', only this time it is sung by a woman, Emeli Sande, so makes a song which never made any sense back when first released, at least make a bit more sense- although the song itself and the original have quite a gap, quality wise

Enrique Iglesias with his second top 10 hit of the year, whilst his first hit I Like It featured the anti-buzzjack rapper Pitbull, this new hit featured the far more Buzzjack friendly Nicole Scherzinger and thus does a bit better than its predecessor did

US rap collective Young Money - the most notable rapper being Lil Wayne, who has had significant success worldwide, Nicki Minaj also had her first appearance on here - featuring a chorus vocal from R'n'B singer Lloyd- using the Flintstones as a metaphor for sex, gotta give it to them, that hasn't been done before

Plan B's debut solo release in the UK that also gave him his second overall top 10 hit following his Chase and Status collaboration last year- it was the start of what was a very big year for him, showing his true talents as a songwriter and soul singer as well as a rapper- She Said was the eptiome of this- but (no pun intended) stayed too long in the top 10 so wasn't to BJ's liking

another man who has had a big year- Usher's second release and 12th overall top 10 hit since debuting in 1997, the song had a very odd chart run, including four consecutive weeks at number 20 and two separate runs in the top 10

Barbadian R'n'B singer Shontelle with her second top 10 hit, there is another young Barbadian singer higher up the charts, her name escapes me

Tinchy Stryder with his fourth top 10 hit (just) which features Jodie Connor, who also features on another song higher up the charts

Must Be The Music continues its influence as piano duo Pepper and Piano feature here, they made it to the finals of the show, but didn't win, they are the only other act from this show other than the winner to feature- even the runners up Missing Andy never made the top 10

Romanian dance artist Inna with her first and only top 10 hit this year, although a straight re-recording of this was her second single and made the top 20 later that year

the 2010 winner of X Factor, Matt Cardle with his winners song- a slightly more credible choice than usual and a cover of Biffy Clyro's song which was originally a hit earlier this year reaching number 20, Matts version didn't fail to a campaign unlike last year and had some of the biggest first week sales of the year

Australian dance duo Yolanda Be Cool & D-Cup who scored probably the dance hit of the year with their extremely odd yet unique crossover with Italian song 'tu vuo fa l'americano' by Renato Carasome, never a hit here originally- this dance remix became an international number 1 in the summer, including here and was one of the biggest selling singles of the year

Rage Against The Machine with a song originally charting in 1993, it infamously beat the X Factor winner of 2009, Joe McElderry to number 1 at Christmas thanks to a facebook campaign, it managed to stay top 10 for a single week this year too

that person of such is also ironically in front of them on here with his first proper single release, a cover (yes, a cover) of a song originally by Norweighan band Donkeyboy, it charted at a somewhat disappointing number 6 in October before plummeting down the charts, following disappointing album sales- it looks like Joe's days as a recording artist are numbered, the Lion King is calling

US rock band Kings of Leon with their comeback following the era of Only By The Night, following such a huge era singles wise and albums wise was always going to be tough, they did pretty well for their genre to get a third top 10 hit in September

another act following something big, Jay Z had quite a job on his hands following up Empire State of Mind, he managed a modest but solid top 10 hit at the beginning of the year with a song featuring vocals from Mr Hudson that samples German pop group Alphaville's 1984 hit Forever Young

and finally Chipmunk heads up the group who ,like many artists on here, fares better with a featuring female artist than they do with a male artist- it was his fourth top 10 hit and Esmee's second and reached number 3 officially in April

I will try and get 70-51 up before midnight, until then you may discuss *awaits tumbleweed*

in this group we pretty much have the songs which Buzzjack were indifferent too, there is a mixture of friendly and non-friendly songs amongst these, they include:

Biffy Clyro's third overall top 10 hit, despite originally peaking at 20 in January, it got a boost at the end of the year- need I explain why?

a song originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler in 1988 which made the dizzy heights of number 98, the song was then covered by US singer Tina Turner in 1989 and reached number 5 in the UK charts, thanks to a facebook campaign involving getting the soundtrack to Rangers FC into the charts, the song re-charted at number 9 earlier in the year, giving her her first appearance in the top 10 hit since 1993 with I Don't Wanna Fight

the Black Eyed Pea's third number 1 of 2009 which ended their huge era that year, they also had quite a big year this year although Rock That Body failed to get top 10, they had a number 1 in December with The Time (Dirty Bit) which samples the classic hit I've Had The Time of my Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, which gave them another huge number 1, shame about the nosedive in quality

Brandon Flowers' first solo single which charted at number 8 in August to give him his first hit away from the Killers, although his voice is so distinctive you could be forgiven for thinking that this is the Killers' fifth top 10 hit

the Sugababes' eighteenth overall top 10 hit and the second for the 'mark 4' trio since the axing of the only original member left, Keisha- will this entirely new line up go on to match the success of the marks 1, 2 and 3- or more importantly, who will be the next to leave?

Australian Drum'n'Bass group Pendulum's second top 10 hit and their first time ever in the top 5, probably the only drum'n'bass act to do this, certainly this year

Far East Movements tacky, throwaway yet fun and infectious party track, Like a G6, which following its chart topping success in the US, went top 5 over here- fun fact: a G6 is a plane

Lemar's seventh top 10 hit since finishing third in Fame Academy in 2003, which puts him now five ahead of the winner of the show David Sneddon

Take That's first single release featuring departed bandmate Robbie Williams in fifteen years, for the 1% of the population who don't know, and their nineteenth top 10 hit overall, although, despite all the hype, not their twelfth number 1

McFly, who got their sixteenth top 10 hit in just six years - although only three times have they had over 10 weeks in the top 75

US singer Alexis Jordan's top 3 debut, she is another example after Lemar and Olly that winning a talent show isn't everything- Alexis was on the first series of America's Got Talent and was eliminated at the semi finals, yet spent five years uploading Youtube covers until she was signed by Jay-Z- a perfect example of patience

another Alex comes in the form of Italian DJ Alex Gaudino who scored his first top 10 hit since Destination Calibria reached the top 5 in 2007, it featured lead vocals from the then quite unknown Maxine Ashley

and finally UK rapper Aggro Santos with his debut, it featured lead vocals from a pussycat doll, but- shock horror- its not Nicole, it is Kimberley Wyatt, who also has a slot judging on the Sky 1 show 'Gotta Dance', the song reached the top 5 in May and was the only top 10 hit for the man, who then appeared on I'm a Celebrity..Get Me Out Of Here later in the year- well that was a short career

hopefully I will finish 50-21 tomorrow and start the top 20 on Thursday- and without meaning to be rude, you all wanted me to keep this chart, it would be nice to see a little more interest in it especially those who do this every week - even one comment would be OK :( I dont want to feel like I'm wasting my time here

I haven't commented because there's no surprises so far to be honest. I have been reading the thread though.

EDIT: Actually, it is a little bit surprising that Candy finished on positive points even though it's by a male rapper and spent 5 weeks top 10.

49. Bruno Mars · 'Just The Way You Are' [3-1-5-5-7-7-9-4] [ 20 Points ]

50. Robyn · 'Dancing On My Own' [4-x] [ 20 Points ]

we are well into the positive pointers now, amongst these we have:

Swedish singer Robyn's fourth UK top 10 hit and second number 8 hit overall

US Singer Bruno Mars' first ever solo UK number 1, and one of the biggest selling singles of the year, the song performed well anyway, but a performance by X Factor winner Matt Cardle on the live shows, spurred the song back to number 1, thus it became the first number 1 since Lady Gaga's Bad Romance to reach the top spot, Bruno has had a very good year, he featured on the also big number 1 'Nothin' On You' with B.o.B and the top 3 hit Billionaire with Travie McCoy, as is clear by its chart run, BJ got a bit sick of it as it went along as it unfortunately lost most of its points as it got as high as 65- nonetheless, it manages a decent top 50 position

all three of UK girl group The Saturdays' top 10 hits this year, the first was their attempt at a first number 1- as desperate as they were, it only charted at number 3, being beaten ironically by Flo Rida who also beat them in 2009, with Right Round beating their comic relief cover of Just Can't Get Enought by Depeche Mode, their next was a top 10 hit early this year which reached number 9 and finally the follow up to Missing You, which featured an appearance from Flo Rida- obviously as an attempt to get number 1, unfortunately, the release pattern was very messed up and they failed to realise Flo Rida isnt always zooming to number 1 (Low, Sugar) and they were lucky to just scrape the top 10 in September, next time the one to collaborate with is JLS, Black Eyed Peas or Dizzee Rascal, girls

The cast of the US hit series, Glee's first top 10 hit, despite a massive 66 top 100 entries this year, their top 10 hits stand at just 3, their highest on here and also biggest selling is Don't Stop Believing, a cover of the Journey hit which was also in the top 10 at the time, this resulted in Don't Stop Believing becoming the song of the moment and for a long time, their were two versions of the song in the top 10, Glee went on to break chart records by scoring hit after hit every week, although none quite matched the success of this one- the recording of the song was far more Buzzjack-friendly than the original- and did a lot better on here as a result

Kelly Rowland's sixth solo top 10 hit, and also the sixth for producer David Guetta- still a bit behind Beyonce's eleven, but a good deal ahead of Michelle Williams' zero

Nicole Scherzinger's first top 10 hit outside of the Pussycat Dolls, which dispells her from the name 'Flopzinger', although it did fall very quickly so make of it what you will

Ke$ha's first ever solo top 10 hit, this of course sold most in late 2009, however it remains Ke$ha's only solo top 10 hit, all of her other releases have just missed out- a frustrating thought for an artist

US dance act Duck Sauce which are actually DJ's Armand Van Helden who has hits here before and A-Trak who hasn't- they got their first proper hit with this quite bizarre song which was literally the name 'Barbra Streisand' on loop, it samples Gotta Go Home by Boney M which was actually the group's first ever release not to go top 10 (they of course hold the record for two songs in the top 10 songs of all time) this in turn samples Hallo Bimmelbahn by German group Nighttrain, the hugely infectious song proved a huge hit, reaching number 3 here and the first time since 1997 that the name Barbra Streisand has been in the top 10, and technicaly gives her an eighth top 10 hit

both of Alexandra Burke's top 10 hits appear here- her first was her third top 10 hit which got there in May, even the fact Pitbull featured didn't hold Buzzjack off it, her second was indeed her second top 10 hit and got there in January, ironically both of these chart higher than her number 1 this year, Start Without You, which also spent longer in the top 10, it seemingly didn't connect with BJ

African singer K'Naan's top 3 smash which was an unofficial World Cup song, however was easily the biggest hit, making it to number 2 being held off by Shout by Dizzee Rascal and James Corden, giving us an all time chart injustice- it nonetheless comfortably outsold and outlasted it and went on to be one of the years biggest number 2s - originally the song was quite a serious slower number, the new Coca Cole remix however was far more jovial and appealing

UK grime collective Roll Deep's first of two UK number 1s featuring the second and final appearance of Jodie Connor in the charts- despite spending three weeks there, the song was a relative flash in the pan and dropped very quickly, nonetheless it got the group far more noticed and had them a good year

Gabriella Cilmi's second top 10 hit, appearing with a far more sexual look than she had before, she escaped the category of one hit wonder with this song, it was a relative flash in the pan, although there were many happy buzzjackers that learnt she got top 10

Florence & The Machine's biggest hit here in the UK, a cover of The Source's hit originally a hit in 1991 reaching number 4, in 1997, a new version was released which reached number 3, a second remix was released in 2006 which got to number 7, Florence's version got to number 5 here after a long chart run and gave her her first UK top 10 hit, the song is one of the few to reach the top 10 on more than two occasions

and finally Tinie Tempah's third UK top 2 hit, which reached number 1 here- it had far more of an anthemic stadium feel to it than his other releases, and has a bit of turnaround here as his first two hits crashed out early-this manages to be his first to reach positive points and almost reaches the top 30- seems hes just a bit of a grower on people, this ends what has been a very good year for him, he was also one of the few artists to get a big selling rap album
