Did anyone on BuzzJack actually watch this? I've kind of slowly become obsessed with Brooker over the last few years to the extent I was at one point contemplating 'disposing' of Konnie Huq. Some of the footage for the earlier months of the year had of course been seen before which meant things did rather improve as they went on.

 

Barry $h!tpeas was much more amazing than what I remember him being, Grace Dent should be on the telly more often, was quite suprised at his lack of mentioning how bad the Xtra Factor was this year though. His The Apprentice commentry was particularly amazing though.

Thisispop used to make references to Brooker quite a lot. I've only got into him quite recently. He reminds me of me! I watch TV like that!

It's a shame he stopped writing Screenburn for The Guardian this year, everyone else they have got to attempt it are crap.

 

I definatly loved the Smurf on the Stick bit, He really nailed in Nick Clegg as well.

To be honest ... given all the silly publicity given to Robbie Barlow and Gary Williams ... I'm surprised that he didn't have a little go at them!

Have loved the Brooker for about 2 or 3 years now. Anyways I really loved the part were he ripped into Sky News' coverage of Raul Moat. :lol:

I also wanted him to talk about it's a 'fix' that UK keeps flopping in Eurovision each year. I guess he's pretty intelligent not to talk $h!t like that then :D

Sad as it is to say this, Eurovision's pretty much forgotten by the end of the year in the UK - it would only really get mentioned if we won probably, most people who don't pay attention assume we finish last every year and it is basically seen as a truism here that the whole thing is a fix, so it barely warrants mention if we finish last again.

Just watched this and it was sensational as expected. So right about so many things, most notably Glee and the JLS wankathon.
