I wanted the Radiohead vinyl but I didn't fancy spending a 2 hour journey each way to get to my nearest independent record shop.

Apparently everything was pretty expensive also and, of course, is nearly all up on e-bay now for ridiculous sums.

Love the sound of vinyl. My father had a lot of them, but today I only have Deep Purple - Machine Head. Unfortunately, my gramophone doesn't work anymore, so :(
I managed to buy a vinyl album from the American Record Store Day (didn't even realise they had them over there).... the 10" pink vinyl 4-track 'Hounds of Love' by Kate Bush..... tracks and artwork hand-selected by the lady herself.... and it's GORGEOUS.
Did anyone buy anything interesting on Record Shop Day?

Got to my local shop far too late. Either everything was gone or they didn't get much in to begin with. I really wanted the James Yorkston record.

I'm disgusted to see how many of the Radiohead records went straight on to e-bay. If these f***er donate their profits to the store they bought the record in then fine, but there is no chance of that happening. It completely defeats the purpose of the day and they should all be ashamed of themselves.

I got the Lady Gaga picture disc... I'd say she's a more interesting artist visually than musically. Wanted the Beth Ditto, Duran and Blancmange but they had all sold out :(
I wanted to pick up the Suede demos 7inch for RSD, but unfortunately I'm miles away from any Record Stores. Oh well, hopefully someone from back home has been able to pick up a copy for me.
