December 30, 201113 yr Author There will always be the sales one thats posted on IRMA though won't there? Yeah but that's usually only a Top 20. There's someone on one of the other forums who usually posts a fuller chart so hopefully we'll have that. Complete Top 50s appear in the Hot Press Yearbook but that won't appear until next spring.
December 31, 201113 yr Can anybody tell me why Paradise is doing so well now? Obviously I know they were on X Factor a few weeks back, but even before that Paradise suddenly surged up the chart, despite being available since September. Anyone know why?
December 31, 201113 yr Just Airplay I'm guessing. It charted low from cherry picking, and I'm guessing the X-Factor and the high Airplay is keeping it high in the charts. Also didn't Coldplay just announce tour dates?

Obviously I know they were on X Factor a few weeks back, but even before that Paradise suddenly surged up the chart, despite being available since September. Anyone know why? It was reduced to 59p about a month ago. Aside from that it also got boosts from being used on I'm A Celebrity and being performed on Graham Norton. EDIT: Just realised after posting this that this is the Irish chart thread (I should have guessed that from your username though ) but I suspect the causes are the same unless you don't get the Graham Norton show in Ireland. And the price reduction would obviously have been to some roughly equivalent number of Euro cents rather than 59p. Edited December 31, 201113 yr by Coldbray

Yeah Graham Norton gets shown a lot over here, probably because he's from Cork!

January 1, 201213 yr :o Little Mix at #7 - and not even top 40 in the UK. What a massive (undeserved, imo, as it's the best winners single to date) flop :( Lol at Jedward, it's a good thing their sucess is in Ireland and not here :P
January 1, 201213 yr Author This would be based on sales. The show's name is "Top 40 Oifigiúil na hÉireann" (The official Irish Top 40). It is a weekly sindicated show which normally counts down the official weekly sales charts as posted here. So its the real deal.
January 1, 201213 yr Author I have now uploaded the rundowns from todays show to YouTube... TsrCYWgsRTg
