Commentary

 

Amazingly, still refusing to leave the top three are Rihanna's What's My Name, which remains at No.1 for a third week in total, and Tove Styrke's White Light Moment, which slips a place to No.3, both on their tenth week each inside the top three!!! Drum and bass act Nero bring some variety into the top five sandwiched between the two long runners as Me & You leaps up to No.2!!! Diddy-Dirty Money's Coming Home slides a place to No.4 whilst Keri Hilson and Nelly remain at No.5 with Lose Control...Rihanna does the double as she soars four places to reclaim the No.1 spot with Loud in the album chart!!! Ellie Goulding moves back up to No.2 with Bright Lights and Take That's Progress falls a spot to No.3...Ke$ha's Cannibal slides from No.1 to No.4 just ahead of a new entry from Ro Danishei called End Of The Rainbow at No.5!!!

Thanks Jack, I know what you mean about Avril, hence me not wanting to debut it in the top ten and overrate it too much, incase it 'does a Nadine' :kink: I gave Nicki's album a listen finally this week and thought it was quite crap apart from Fly, so I just downloaded that instead :lol: Even the Natasha Bedingfield song did nothing for me :( Price Tag's struggling with me, I like it a lot but it's missing a spark to make it good enough to reach my chart right now...I also like the featured vocalist on Traktor! That middle 8/vocal breakdown is oddly great!

Thanks Jonjo! I have to say, I really like Ms Emotional! It really reminds me of some AK material :o And the Adele song is STILL growing on me I'm sorry to say, so it won't be going anywhere just yet, I love the backing vocals! Pink's song is a real grower, I really love the lyrics. Fly's great too, the only song that I particularly liked on Nicki's album :lol: You might like Clare's new song more than Ain't Nobody, it's slightly more euphoric and uplifting. What do you have against Le Kid :snif: They're almost as good as Alphabeat to me and very similar to their first era I'd say! They'll be taking part in Melodifestivalen this year so I'm sure they've got another big smash in my chart still to come! Their cover of Mr Brightside is 'good' but that's as far as I'd go. I've really got back into Loud massively again this week :lol: So back come all of my old favourites!

Nicki's album isn't as good in the middle, but half of it is really great imo (I'm The Best, Romans Revenge, Right Thru Me, Fly, Check It Out, Your Love, Last Chance).

 

'Price Tag' is really catchy, but I think I've heard a version which is sped-up slightly, and it's perfect like that, so I don't want it to turn out that it really is a bit slower :(

Maybe I'll give it another listen at some point but I didn't think much of Roman's Revenge at all, and that's the one everyone seems to rave over. Not a fan of Your Love either. I guess I just don't 'get her' although I like some of the songs that she features in...

I love B.o.B, so I really hope we get his version, as yes, Devlin's singles have only been good due to the featured artists. Maybe the B.o.B feature could help 'Price Tag' in America :unsure:
