Sources confirm to me exclusively that Glee is doing a February sweeps episode that’s Justin Biebercentric.

Details are still sketchy, but I’m told the episode — tentatively scheduled to air on Feb. 15 — will feature the cast covering several of the teen phenom’s songs. Bieber himself will also figure into the episode’s plot, although there are no plans for him to appear in the flesh. At least not as of this writing.

While the rest of BJ will be dreading this episode, I CAN NOT WAIT!

This better not happen you mean. Good lord, without getting into ranting here I will really start contemplating where this show is even going anymore if they have a Bieber special. The Madonna/Britney/Rocky specials could all be justified due to their massive impact on pop culture, and well frankly other than a nice haircut and generally looking like a lesbian, Bieber hasnt contrbited a great deal so far.

I dread to think who they'll force into singing 'Baby'.

I don't mind Justin, but I don't think he's had a big impact on music yet, unlike the Madonna episode or when they used GaGa.

This can't be happening.

I will seriously consider if i should continue watching this show if they pull something like this off. Season 2 is a huge downfall WITHOUT this 'episode'.

All of this, it'll lose so much credibility if they do something like this imo.

It might not actually be true, but they might be doing one song.

Contrary to a previous online report, EW has learned that Glee will not be airing a Justin Bieber tribute episode. Let’s hear the deets from Mr. Glee himself, Ryan Murphy: “Those [tributes]are reserved for artists with big catalogs,” he explains. “Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam (Chord Overstreet) sings a JB song to win Quinn’s (Dianna Aragon) approval.” The episode, which is called “Comeback”, will air later this winter and also feature Rachel (Lea Michele) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) diva’ing it out on a tune from Rent. (“Take Me Or Leave Me”, please!) Are you disappointed or relieved that Glee won’t be saluting Bieber this spring? And what song from Rent do you want to hear?

Oh, well it'll blatantly be 'Baby' that Sam sings to Quinn... I guess this thread can be changed to "S02E13: 'Comeback'" then? :P
Thank GOD for that. One Justin Bieber song being covered is MORE than enough as far as I'm concerned.

Poor BRAVE Dianna Agron. Use to play one of the shows best characters, now reduced to possibly the dullest romance possible and having Bieber sung at her by a waxwork.

Still, good to know we will only be enduring one of his songs.

This can't be happening.

I agree, it's becoming tedious to watch for me.

If Sam does insult Quinn by singing Beiber to her, she MUST dump him immediately.

He should also be shot for crimes against humanity, as should Beiber.

I doubt it will be 'Baby'. It will most likely be that god awful cheese stinking 'U Smile'. But thank god they aren't doing a Justin Bieber episode. I would've had to skip it altogether and catch up in the '...And thats what you missed on Glee!' part.

According to Billboard, they will also be doing 'Born This Way' in an upcoming episode :o

*****Do not read if you haven't kept up with American pace*****

"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy dishes to EW that Gaga's "Born this Way," her new single that has yet to premiere, will be performed in a March or April episode focused on the character

Dave Karofsky (Max Adler), whose bullying drove Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) to transfer schools during the first half of the season.

I think that should have it's own thread... very excited about that :w00t: Both for the song, and the fact that

Dave is clearly just a mixed-up teen fighting against his urges, and if I understand the song right, it means he'll finally be able to come out and be himself. Plus he's cute :kink:

THANK GOD. One song is still too much though, but it MAY not ruin this TV show.
Anyone else think that Glee is just bleh nowdays? :( I still watch it but it doesn't leave me with that warm fuzzy feeling insde. Too many tributes and special episodes and truckloads of guest stars and the characters themselves are all over the place.
