I went to see the 'Let's Get To It' tour back in 1991,

and also the 'ShowGirl Greatest Hits' tour of 2005

(both concerts were in Manchester)

but the price of tickets (plus all the associated booking fees etc) is now so extortionate,

and therefore I am not going along to see this tour, or probably any tour in the future.

I will be keeping an eye out for a DVD release though.

8th of April 2011. The O2...

I'm going all the way from lebanon...

u see how much i love kylie???

That is amazing!

She's not coming to your country?

AHHH! :w00t: NIGHT OF MY LIFE, SHE WAS f***ING INCREDIBLE.

I was blown away by her from start to finish, she really is the best at what she does.

During the request seciton, she did a little bit of Hand on Your Heart and all of Better Than Today.

f***ing amazing night.

What happened last time?

I fell as I was going up the steps

I see her at Mancs MEN on Monday, bloody can't wait. This is only my 2nd time, saw her previously on her X tour at the o2 and was let down, bot by Kylie but because I thought the o2 was a terrible! The set wasn't loud enough and the crowd were about as charismatic as a wet tea towell!

no not really, apart from a gig in Dubai in November 2009 (which i attended), she's never been to the Middle East...

I went last night to Manchester. Absolutely fantastic night. Such an electric atmosphere. I loved every bit of it. Well done Kylie on putting out such a brilliant show.
Dont believe what you see in the youtube videos. I wasnt expecting a great show becuase of them and I was sooooooooooo wrong. Amazing. Thats all I can say. I didnt think it would rival X Tour but it did and more. It was even quiet emotional and I NEVER get like that. I cant wait for the DVD.

Oh I got emotional too  I nearly cried during If You Don't Love Me.

I enjoyed the second time better than the first if that is possible.

Is there any truth in the rumours I read online that she maybe adding more dates in the UK later this year. I cant see it but would defo go again

So...this concert was absolutely incredible! Up there with Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour as the favourite concert I've been to;

highlights;

I Believe In You - complete Kylie being hauled around the stage in a carriage, amazing!

What Do I Have To Do - one of my favourite Kylie songs ever and an amazing reception from the crowd, deservedly so!

Slow - loved the jazz arrangement and staging for this

There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart) - fantastic cover, actually could have fit very well on Aphrodite with that arrangement. Loved all of the updated arrangements of the 'classics' too.

If You Don't Love Me - I don't own Hits+ and wasn't familiar with this song but it's gorgeous, downloaded it now! Shows that she has an incredible and underrated voice.

I Should Be So Lucky - an audience request apparently, loved hearing her sing this, even if it was only a verse and a chorus.

All The Lovers - SO euphoric, worked amazingly in that atmosphere and brilliantly as the encore finale, definitely deserves to be one of her signature tunes. Brave move having CGYOOMH on so early in the show too :o The staging was absolutely spectacular as well what with the water jets and the dancers in the air. Stunning.

The whole production looks like it cost a bomb to put on, I definitely feel like I got my money's worth

I'm a bit belated on giving my verdict on the concert but oh my good god it was outstanding... unbelievable... a truly euphoric two hours! I was standing, right near the front centre and it made me realise how much I idolise this lady (spoken like a typical Kylie worshipping queen but so what!). The standing ovation she got after her rendition of There Must Be An Angel brought a tear to her eye - amazing to witness, someone as established as Kylie can be humbled to tears is testament to her loyalty and devotion she has to her fans. Other divas claim to be, but usually comes across as unsincere.

So, out of ten, it gets an eleven!

It's a brilliant comp; defo worth purchasing. Also good to see others realise that she doesn't get the recognition she deserves for her vocal ability, not just an average pop singer than can hold a tune, as most will brand her as.

So I'm thinking on going tomorrow on the O2.

Anyone else here going as well?

If I do, I'm going by myself...

Oh well...

Just bought a ticket at the O2 Arena.

Going tonight!!

Exciteeeeeed!

She's my favourite ever, so it feels like a dream come true.

Going alone though... :(

Oh well, Kylie will keep me company :)

I went on Saturday night. The best show she's ever done if only for the finale, All The Lovers was AMAZING. Some great little mixing and tweaking of classics too and as always she was gorgeous and so relaxed with the audience.

Yes! "What Do I Have To Do" sounded incredibly current! Loved the mix. Also like the mashup idea for "Love At First Sight" and "Can't Beat The Feeling" and the jazz-building-to-a-full-on-techno-track treatment they gave to "Slow". AMAZING!

I felt the house came down with "Get Outta My Way", and "In My Arms" aswell.

"On a Night Like This" and "All The Lovers" were just so so special on all levels, breathtaking.

It was the first Kylie concert I attended, and also the first big concert I ever went to. I'm in awe!! :D
