I appreciate the boys are generally stronger than the girls this year, but I wish we could be rid of some of them. Saving Casey last week was utterly pointless, anyone bottom of the vote by week 3 surely stands no real chance of progressing much further, and I cant stand Paul.

I think Haley will win. She has started out pretty low key, but as of now, she's easily the most versatile and most interesting female vocalist in the competition.

I think Scotty is fantastic, i look forward to listening to him every week. :cheer:

I really like Haley. I loved her rendition of Blue. And Benny And The Jets was amazing.

 

Shame for Thia. Not shocked for Naima.

Finally this thread is alive :cheer: I only like Pia, Lauren, Haley and James now :( Thiiiiaaa :cry: Naima went before she should've too :( Paul, Casey and Jacob are all f***ing awful to the point I can barely endure the duration of their performance :puke: Scotty is OK but the whole 'country is all' act is rather grating :( Pia ftw, but I can see her crashing out 4th at best - AI has become a rock/country/alternative kinda sshow and Pia is so X-Factorish :( I predict Haley will pull it back after being initally unpopular (a la Diana DeGarmo) for a Haley, Scotty and Lauren/James top 3 (in any order).

The one who I really can't stand is Stefano - I just don't see what the judges see in him - he's just plain and bland.

My favorites are Scotty, Pia, and James. At least right now they are head and shoulders above the rest. All who have been voted out pretty much have been the right ones. Next I'd like to see Haley and Casey to go but even before seeing tonight's performances I think Stefano is a goner if he doesn't pull a really good performance.

I am very angry by tonights result, I thought she was going to win. Its like Laura White all over again :(

I agree Pia was like a Pagent Queen rather insipid and bland.That has got to be one of the worse renditions of River Deep Mountain High I have heard-where is the emotion the soul and the attitude.I think she is like Laura greta voice but could not move to save her life.It is sad though that the women are dying and will slowly be gone.Stefano and Scottie are dull and I think Jacob and James are the only ones I like.Haley or Stefan to go next.A male will win but not be able to sustain a career I can see someone signing Pia.The girls from Idol go on to bigger and better things anyway look at Kelly, Carrie, Fantasia, Jennifer, Amber and Jordin.

f*** this! :o Just caught up on results and am f***ing FURIOUS :( Casey is awful, as is Jacob :angry: I only like Lauren, James, Haley and Stefano now, oh and I guess Scotty is bearable. Lauren ftw now, but she'll blates be 4th at best, and we'll have ANOTHER male winner... I think Pia was in the judge's top 3, and yet they had to waste the save on f***ing Casey :( This is just like J-Hud all over again (ie total travesty!) Although Jennifer was against Fantasia iirc, whereas Pia had average Stefano (I like him, but let's face it he's a bit dull and the awful OTT Jacob! Sig change beckons for me then :(

From all the booing in the studio, judges reactions and celeb reactions on Twitter, she better be signed anyway.

 

Best performance of the night though! She absolutely NAILED Janis Joplin!!!

Haley is coming on leaps and bounds, I can see her becoming my fave in weeks to come! I wouldn't be shocked if she finished top 3 tbh, though the winner is blatantly Scotty/James! Saying that Crystal was the clear (no pun intended) winner last season and Lee beat her (though tbf Lee was better than her on average post top 5, she went a bit downhill - her only saving grace was Up To The Mountain :wub:)

After this result it just goes to show that America has no taste in music. Pia was by miles the rest and should have won.

If the judges hadn't have stupidly saved Growler Casey they could have used it this week to save real talent.

I didn't really rate Haley at first but she's really grown on me this last 2 or 3 weeks.

 

You can see that as their charts are 50% full of tuneless Hip-Hop/R&B rubbish.

 

If I bother to watch the show again i'll have to back Haley. There's only 3 worth watching now - Haley, Lauren & Tim, maybe Scotty, all the rest are mediocre to rubbish with Stefano being the worst from the start.
