Adele :mellow: MYFML might be back at #4 this week then, the last time it was #4 it looked like it'd fall but it never did - I wonder if it can actually get a second consecutive week in the top 10 this time though? It might be helped by the release of Adele's new material? Then again it's probably a bit too old to benefit from that (and that is a genuine effect, examples being Daniel Merriweather's Change recharting when Red was released and Example's Watch The Sun Come Up returning when Won't Go Quietly was released)

 

But why is 19 up to #6? :mellow: I wonder if she'll have 2 albums in the top 10 in two weeks' time? :lol:

 

Anyway, great for Guetta & RiRi looking to get a new peak as well as Martin Solveig, Usher, Pro Green and James Blake ^_^

 

Surprised to see Emma's album as high as #3 but it'll likely fall a few over the week - possibly allowing 19 back into the top 5 :lol:

Would be nice to see how Grenade is doing sales wise, must be huge, the lead on iTunes is one of the biggest leads i've ever seen.

I'd say Grenade has sold about 45k so far. Promise This had a similar lead and she sold around 55k (I think).

This time of the year is the most interesting imo as it has alot of albums that were around the 30-50 mark through alot of 2010 rising alot as all of the super promoted albums plummet like crazy. I hope Rihanna can stay around the 30-40 mark for a couple of months as it's such a good album :P .

Digital download albums are massively reduced on Amazon. Would explain Adeles sudden rise on the albums chart and Emmas Imagination is selling for just £3.99.

Yes, it ended 2010 having sold in total 430k+. Adding in last week, it should be about 440k. And then this week will take it over 450k.

Considering Take Thats massive sales they are holding up very well in both the singles and the album chart.

Great to see Imelda May back in the top 30 i hope she can keep climbing, its a great album.

like imelda may after greame norton - shes was really nice and thanked him for giving her the chance to perform to so many people!!

Imelda seems very down to earth and her career really seems to be taking off, she is absolutly huge in ireland her albums do very well, hopefully 2011 will be her year and break through internationally or even the uk.
