This looks like it's going to be epic.

What a pity they didn't do something radical - like release the video at the same time as the single. A lot of money will have been wasted on that video - and it will be wasted as it won't get played much with the single now out of help's reach!

It is definitely way better than what I've expected! The concept is ok but not what I would have expected

The dancing part is still disgusting but as a whole it is an interesting video. I am probably the only one here who knows what this is, but to me it looks like 'starcraft: wings of liberty' with 'pirates of the caribean' costumes. I don't know if it could still help the song though... it only has 304 views and the song has been played for ages...

P.S: Howard must be dressed in roman armor. Jason is the most fitting one, still when I saw Robbie on the bike  I would definitely spare a coin or two!

oh and Kath, would it be of any surprise to you if I told you people are actually paying x2+ for the tickets?

I thought you'd have got more than that to be honest, especially with Rob appearing. For the UT - my brother in law paid twice face value and my niece paid £100 for a BW ticket when I think the face value was about £45.00.

Appearently they are all TT fans rather than Rob's...

I'm actually 'giving away' 2 tickets (I wasn't going solo!) but it looks like I will earn more than 100 xtra pounds after all. Next time I should buy more!

(I am feeling a little guilty tbh)

My first thought was buying tickets for San Siro but I am happy now I did't. I am not sure whether San Siro is sold out or not.

Don't feel guilty! Loads of people are doing it.

I don't think any of the European dates are sold out yet are they? Possibly the Danish/German ones - but even then I'm certain there are tickets still going (well on TM they are anyway).

I'm not bothering at all this time (a few years back I travelled as far as Belfast) but I'm quite happy just hearing the album now - I don't have to see them. As a lot of folk have said in the past - four grown men - not playing instruments and dancing about is a bit silly (but fun) - five grown men - not playing instruments and prancing about looks even sillier (although it may be funnier!)

In an exclusive interview today Take That's Gary Barlow revealed what really goes on behind the scenes in Take That.

Speaking as they release their Incredible new single 'Kidz' the singer explained, ' Our World Wide domination is down to me we all know that, but every once in a while I let Mark Owen, he's the small one with the slight speech impediment, sing some of the vocals. Not all mind, just the verse, and then I come in with a big Chorus to help him out.

Take the new single, ''Kidz'', we're keeping it real and modern by spelling Kidz in a crazy way, and we steal a very 60's sound from the Kinks to start things off. The key is to have a very expensive video so that people get distracted from how poor the song actually is. The verse is weak, but listen to my voice when the chorus starts

'There'll be trouble when the kids come out' is pure genius. It's very important to have a good hook and as usual I save the day.

Howard and Jason, the other two as we call them, wander about a bit looking moody, but the masterpiece here is keeping Robbie out of the limelight. You can almost see how annoyed he is at not singing, and I love that. Makes him look a bit sulky. It won't be long now before he quits the band and we can get back to normal.'

I must admit - the first few bars of Kidz is a direct 'homage' to The Kinks' Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon!

Your comments make me smile Kath

people who criticise TT's show are nuts :P

The Circus (show) or BW Tour were absolutely incredibly.. color explosion, sound explosion.. innovative and fascinating.

They really put on a great show. That's why I consider their last tours some of the absolute best. (Kylie and Madonna, The Stones or the BEP cannot put togetehr a show as diverse).

I do think the live shows are great - totally mad in bits - but still amongst the best shows I've ever seen. I just hope that the Progress Tour isn't a bit of let-down compared to previous ones. They're starting to take themselves a bit too seriously - I hope the shows don't reflect it.

I think I've got a ticket. But to be honest I'm not sure I'm going to go. I think it was the performance of Kidz at the Brits that put me off. It's just not really my bag.

You should go! You'll not regret it. If I had a ticket I'd go - even if it does mean sitting through a 40 minute Rob solo stint. I must confess though - I'd have to take advantage of the terminally turgid Angels for a bog-break.

Don't you like stomping around the stage then dressed in an ill fitting military uniform <_<

I'm still trying to get hold of a fairly priced ticket, I refuse to pay above £65 or travel to Sunderland, which is the only place with tickets left!

I'd decided a long while back that I was only going if it cost me face-value and not a penny more. Some hotel/concert type deals have showed up again on Event Travel (but I begrudge staying in a hotel in the 'greater manchester' area - which could end up in Warrington - when I only live in Wigan!!!!)

I reckon I've seen them at their best to be honest. Although I think Progress will be a great show compared to some other artists' shows - I can't see it living up to The Circus or even Beautiful World - and I've no doubt Rob fans will feel it certainly won't live up to their expectations of a Rob solo gig. Take That have set their own bar too high.

Kath

PS - I still haven't bought the album!

 you are psycho!

I've downloaded the songs I really like and that's it I'm afraid. I'm on a thrift spree. Any money I've got to spare on treats these days is going towards some old films that I want to add to my collection and going to the theatre.

I'm too old for music now I'm afraid - certainly too old to be going to concerts (even though I'm taking my son to see Scouting For Girls next month.)

Kath

Has this song limped into the charts yet? Did anyone notice?

I looked into that, but the cheapest package I could find was £165 (it would have to be one hell of a hotel to justify paying that!) and even then when you press confirm it randomly adds on a £35 booking fee...

I don't think I'll be going sadly...
