I never realised that they were both getting released around the same time! Should be quite interesting...

OMGAH! Can't wait for this, I'm so glad we've got a release date from her herself; on her birthday too! ^_^

If Britney comes back performing like she used to (which i suspect she will, it was basically the purpose of the Circus era to give her back her confidence), then she won't have to worry about GaGa. They both have very strong fan bases.

New Single: January 7th

Not finished celebrating Britmas yet? Good.

While some might call this vague speculation, you should know that I wouldn’t post an Excluusive unless I’ve been told something on very solid, reliable authority. Plus: I don’t f*** around when it comes to Godney Spears.

The first single from Britney’s as-of-yet untitled seventh studio album will be released in the first week of January. More specifically, I’m hearing Friday, January 7.

That’s honestly just the beginning–but I can say no more. I’m sorry!

Are you ready for what’s next?

POPJUSTICE

1. Britney Spears

Imagine. JUST IMAGINE. If she's back on form with something on a 'Womanizer'/'Toxic' level - rather than sexless rumpojams like '3' or the career low that was 'If U Seek Amy' - we could be looking at the comeback of 2011. Something that sounds quite a lot like if not totally identical to 'Poison' would not be a bad idea, but if she does something else we won't hold it against her.

MuuMuse Excluusive: And The New Britney Single Is Called…

You might want to call me BRADtannica at this point.

First of all, has anyone else noticed this? Merely an observation, not hinting at anything:

※ Madonna‘s seventh studio album was Ray of Light.

※ It was released in March of 1998.

※ It was largely produced by William Orbit.

※ The album photography was done by Mario Testino.

But onto the real stuff.

Remember when I said there’s plenty to come? I wasn’t lying.

While I can’t quite officially reveal the single title to you, please…

DON’T HOLD IT AGAINST ME.

Are you ready for what’s next?

Oh, and before you start Heavy Breathing…remember where you read this one FIRST.

*Word reaches me that Britney Spears has been impressing people behind the scenes whilst working on her new album. One of the producer’s working with her, Fraser T. Smith, tells me she was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Fraser – who penned one of my favourite hits last year, James Morrison and Nelly Furtado’s duet Broken Strings – says she was professional and totally adorable. Fraser said: “We worked on three tracks and I love them all. I turned up straight from the plane and she was fantastic. She made coffee for us all in the studio, her voice was strong and she was totally focused on her music. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I just hope the tracks make the final cut for the album.” Me too – Fraser’s one talented dude. Britney’s new album drops in March.

I doubt this is true tbh. The above three songs are sung by Leona ('I Got You' & 'Outta My Head') and then B.o.B ('Magic'), which are produced by these same producers. So I'd take it with a large pinch of salt.

The message read:

"Projected Timeline: Brian is working on the project [rehearsals]for a Music Video! Shoot after the holidays. For a single off her album. No Tour."

Hey ... There :w00t:

fellow Brit fan oposted this on my fb wall:

The album is titled 'Moody' and is up for a release of March 15.

First single 'Hold It Against Me' is to be premiered on Jan 3rd - which is what DrLuke was trying to hint at. And the full first line of the song is "Hey over there I don't think you can hear me well. "

dunno where he found it yet, but sure looks exciting and realistic?!? :w00t:
