It is clearly Robbie (although it could be the key Barlow likes to sing at) but even from the pronounciation it must be Rob. Finally it is definitely not a tempo Gary is comfortable with...

 

And btw for copyright reasons the utube video you posted a link to has modified pitch... The album version is different.

I was 100% sure it was Robbie before that poll... could it be wishful thinking? It is true their voices are similar at that pitch but I still think it is Robbie... I mean everyone said it was Robbie on the first listen (even reviewers) before this discussion started... and now it is taking over the forums + utube :o

If this is about Kidz, it is Gary singing, not Robbie. One of his management team confirmed it off the record. (He didn't ask to be off the record, it just came up in an argument and he said "It's NOT Robbie.")

 

I read somewhere that Jason also said it's Gary.

Yes! No matter how much 'techno' is added - you can always tell Mark's voice (thank heavens).

It is strange though - this 'fogginess' between Gary and Rob's voices (even sometimes before any electronic wizardry is added!) I've found when listening to some Beatles stuff - there are times when I find it very difficult to distinguish between Lennon and McCartney's voices - especially the early stuff.

Just watched Look Back Don't Stare dvd

 

It isn't Robbie singing the chorus :blink:

But remember, in that dvd it's Rob who sings Eight Letters isn't it? So maybe who sings what in the dvd doesn't go for much :P

 

Who sings the Kidz chorus in the dvd by the way? :unsure:
