I swear that people really do just scan the list and think "OH NOES THERE'S A MALE NAME, OUT OUT OUT" :( I don't know why that still surprises and saddens me, but it does.

 

I do agree and it is saddening :( but I think in terms of diversity, this top 20 has been the best yet- its just a shame all the males always get ousted before the top 10 :(

 

then again, Just Jack and Justin Timberlake have done extremely well :o

To be fair, most of the female songs left are pretty great. Only one I don't like is Beyoncé & Shakira but there's others I dislike more so I won't be voting for it yet. I could probably live without 'Shut Up & Drive' and 'About You Now' too but I do like them (even though I'm sick of hearing 'AYN' so much, even 3 and a half years on!).

 

'Stop Me' definitely shouldn't be going though. I'm actually amused at how Fall Out Boy are still here now :lol: Can we keep them in until the top 10 please?

I know, but I think it was very surprising that the likes of Bleeding Love, Girlfriend and Big Girls Don't Cry were out before the likes of This Ain't a Scene, Ruby and Starz In Their Eyes! :o

Only 'Bleeding Love' being eliminated was surprising out of those for me.

 

But yeah, the only reason the likes of Justin Timberlake and Just Jack have slipped in this far is because they're fairly inoffensive on a list that isn't BJ-friendly in the first place, so they're guaranteed to get much further than if they were competing in the 2008 or 2009 games. I wouldn't be surprised if both made the top 10 to be honest. Well, I expect JT definitely will at least, unfortunately.
