I really can't express just how much I loved this film. I saw the 1pm showing and I'm still not over how good it was! (Plus, it was my first IMAX experience so I think the effect is lasting longer than it should on me.) Everything about it was perfect. It felt very real and the acting was at it's finest. The only thing I wasn't liking at all was Bane's voice sounded quite high pitched and didn't seem to fit a character of his size at first

(in the first scene in the plane)

but it grew on me throughout the film and I understand why they didn't have him use a deeper voice as it could have confused people with Batman or it could have been very hard to understand him otherwise. Oh and I knew Anne would be perfect. She bloody kicked a lot of major, serious ass in this!

AGH! Best film of the year bar none. 'The Avengers' who?

Awards for Michael Caine as Alfred. Stunning and beautiful performance from him, in particular during this film! Everyone deserves awards actually. It was all perfectly cast and there really was no weak link!

!

Oh and very disturbing to read about the deaths in Colorado in regards to the midnight showing of this! :( R.I.P. to those who were unfortunate to make it through the events.

EDIT: Dunno if anyone else has seen this but, this is currently doing the rounds on facebook...

Would be lovely if someone read and listened to it, and could do something about it.

Really good. The twist in it

with Bane not actually been the BIG bad person I didn't see coming!

despite having read little tibits of information. Some of the action sequences were fantastic, especially Bane vs Batman's first fight. The character of Bane was menacing, although I had real trouble understanding what he was saying half of the time. I picked up the key bits but it was pretty distorted and muffled.

Anne Hathaway was smoking, why did he cut her hair short! Brilliant ambiguity in the character, although what the point her blonde sidekick was I'll never know. As for the ending

I really did think they killed Bruce Wayne off, and in a way I think it would have been better that way. But I guess they wanted the character of Alfred to have a happy ending, which he did. As for the future of the franchise, well after Batman and JL-V first met I just knew it. I guess there's the continuity which Warner Bros wanted to be able to carry on Batman (and Robin..), at the same time as ending the Bruce Wayne and Christopher Nolan trilogy.

For her part in Les Miserables.

I loved it, although it was far from perfect.

Bane (and that distracting godawful voice) was my biggest problem with the film. The twist was fine but made all this Bane buildup completely pointless. While it doesn't lessen the impact of the rest of his scenes, the way he died was anticlimactic and disappointing. The ending? Meh. Anne Hathaway was surprisingly incredible! I really didn't think she had it in her. Dat ass etc.

My only real grip with the ending was

how Bruce survived a six-mile nuclear blast, but I'm willing to let that slide. I guess Robin will don the Batsuit if the Justice League film goes ahead.

ejector seat, if you remember when he was having a conversation with Lucius Fox about the ejector seat is it working, he said it was pretty dodgy, so he must have fixed it in the end, and let the batplane run on automatic.

Great if exhausting film - which never seemed to drag.

Bale seemed to be out-acted by the rest of the cast. Anne Hathaway was very good and I loved how she revealed when she was stuck or needed help.

I get that part, but the blast had like a six-mile radius. He must have great bat senses.

Seen this twice already, amazing. Loved Tom Hardy as Blane, found his voice a little irritating but he came across as a very believable villian. Anne Hathaway was also a highlight. She played Catwoman better than Halle or Michelle for me, I just wish

Catwoman was more of a villian in this?

Was Robin officially Batman's sidekick from the start or are was it just a nice little coincidence?

Is Catwoman really villainous? I don't follow comics, but I've always thought her motives were ambigious, as shown in the film again.

I think that's just a nod to the comics and Batman fanboys. I doubt there will ever be a Robin movie, and if the franchise is not fully rebooted again by the new director then JGL will probably take over the batsuit for the Justice League film.

It seems that Christian Bale, DID end up going to see the Aurora shooting victims.

glad he didn't take the advice of doing it in character though, that would have got my PTSD going through to roof if i was there
Although I expect if he REALLY, REALLY tried he could get access to the suit but I suspect there would be all kinds of legal issues given it doesn't belong to him
I was supposed to see this tonight but it was sold out. I'm so gutted. :( Now I have to wait until next week. -_-

Was Catwoman bi in this? Couldn't tell.

wondered this too, that woman seemed so pointless

just been to see it and pretty much everything has been said.

the stadium scene and when bruce gets out of prison DAMNN

anne >>>

Saw this in the IMAX today and even Bane's voice couldn't stop this from being the best movie of the year so far.

Bane's voice is amazing! ;o I really liked that it wasn't what I was expecting. It caught me off guard at first, where I actually LOL'd and though "oh dear" but as the movie went on, it seemed to fit his character.

Nah, the voice wasn't really for me. It was just strange and I couldn't take him as seriously as I wanted to with it, but the worst thing was I couldn't even make out what he was saying quite a lot of the time.
