What was majorly annoying about Bane was the fact you couldn't understand him half the time.

Brilliant film and although some of the scenes were absolutley flawless; there was a fair few downsides to it. Not as good as The Dark Knight or The Avengers but still fantastic.

I can also join the rest in saying Anne was bloody brilliant.

Saw this yesterday - loved Bane, thought having a villain with a proper physical presence was a masterstroke and he was masterful in the stadium scene. Couldn't stop staring at his coat, either. Thought they went a bit overboard with new characters and what was initially a slightly muddled plot at the start but it soon picked up, couldn't help but be impressed with the whole scale of the thing.

As for the ending,

given it's a Nolan film was it ever going to be anything other than ambiguous? I thought it made a lot of sense but I'm not reading too much into the whole Robin thing.

Oh and Judge Dredd looks shocking from the trailer.

The only good thing about this film was the ending. the only other batman i watched was the dark knight with heath ledger in it and i remember that being A M A Z I N G but i couldnt follow the story properly in this one and it dragged on for like ever.

so the police guy, he was robin. why didnt batman seem to recognise his lil buddy throughout the entire film?

I don't get why some people found Bane hard to understand, and suspect it may be down to the sound in individual cinemas.

In ours, his voice was crystal clear and actually was considerably louder and clearer than the rest of the audio track, making it quite obvious that it was dubbed/worked on in post-production. But there were no issues with understanding him at all.

I didn't have any issue hearing him either, but then my sisters who watched it with me both kept asking what he was saying. It does seem to crop up a lot though as a complaint about it. I did love how he sounded ever so polite at times, especially when his voice got a little bit higher.

this wasn't as great as I hoped, it was kind of epic but there were too many plot holes,

like how the f*** did Bruce get back to Gotham from the prison?

Found Bane muffled as well, sometimes he was really clear but a lot of the time very muffled, thought he was an awesome villain though.

That was my one 'eh?' moment too in an otherwise largely coherent film.

Had no problem with Bane's voice at all. Hardy played him rather well I felt and loved the fact that

Bane breaking Batman's back was lifted almost shot for shot from Knightfall. Found it a slight shame that Tate being Talia was rather obvious from the start - at least for anyone who knows Ra's had a daughter and Blake was clearly Robin once the orphan child story came in. I was kind of hoping for Azrael but Robin would have to come first. As for the ending, nicely set up for a 'battle for the cowl' style film with the possibility of Bruce coming back from the dead if they wish and Robin later moving on to be Nightwing

Thought Anne was solid and had some nice moments but nothing special really and I'm still waiting on the definitive Catwoman on film. Get the feeling the better reviews for her are more due to surprise she could do it rather than a genuinely brilliant performance

My only real grip with the ending was

how Bruce survived a six-mile nuclear blast, but I'm willing to let that slide. I guess Robin will don the Batsuit if the Justice League film goes ahead.

Because he was still in Gotham, having fixed the software bug on The Bat autopilot and then bailed. The scene near the end with Lucius explains this but it is blink and you miss it

I saw that scene

but it is more the logistics of it that is confusing. I'm willing to let it slide, but the bomb had a six-mile radius, he'd have had to jump out almost as soon as he hit the sea.

Or before leaving the city. You might have noticed The Bat flies very low through the city. Cockpit shots of Batman show shadows of buildings on him and then it pulls up before leaving town. He had to bail out low or he'd be seen doing so. Fly low, programme it's course, flick the switch and get out of dodge. Doesn't seem confusing to me

By the way did anyone else clock the sly Killer Croc reference?
I managed to watch this on Wednesday and I absolutely loved it. I don't think it was as good as The Dark Knight, but it was still a superb film. Anne Hathaway was the clear standout, she was incredible and hot.

Loved it, not a great fan of Batman but this had a decent plot and kept my interest despite it being over 2.5 hours long!

I did spot a really small film mistake though (really geeky moment follows)... When the american football match started, the time on the clock said "15:00" and yet when Bane entered the stadium after having set off all the underground explosions, the time magically had wound back to "14:44" therefore suggesting that time had indeed been reversed. I didn't mention it to any of my friends at the time for fear of social REJECTION, but I can feel free to share here at least!

Finally had the opportunity to see this. I thought it was quite good, I was genuinely nervous for Gotham towards the end.

Didn't see the whole Talia thing coming either although by the end it did make sense.

Bane's voice was quite annoying and at times, was very hard to understand but I would be interested to see the 'undubbed' version if one does exist. Anne Hathaway stole it for me though. She was brilliant as Catwoman.

I thought it was a fine ending to the trilogy. I had no issues understanding Bane's dialogue either. I actually enjoyed it the most out of the three Nolan Batman movies.
Have watched this 3 times now and still can't decide which ending I prefer
