December 21, 201113 yr I knew Anne would make a fantastic Catwoman. The film looks like it will be superb, and I'm very much looking forward to watching it.
December 31, 201113 yr Got unbelievably excited seeing the preview of this in the cinema. An IMAX job for sure!
May 1, 201213 yr I am really excited for this after seeing the trailer at the IMAX. I LOVED The Dark Knight. If this is anything like that, it'll be amazing.
May 1, 201213 yr 1NRsPDhyHrc  -x- somehow, I actually only just saw the trailer for this recently, can't wait! :D Whilst a little long and complex, I loved the Dark Knight, this looks like it will be just as complex (and long!) as that, but still looks amazing. The villain looks intriguing too Edited May 1, 201213 yr by C.W

July 17, 201212 yr So apparently movie critics worldwide agree that this is perhaps the best superhero movie of all time and a really mindblowing piece. Way to make the wait less hard.... I really really can't wait to see this.
July 17, 201212 yr Down to the 80's on Rotten Tomatoes. :o I thought this would have been a surefire 95%+.
July 17, 201212 yr Oh never mind, they're big trolls. The Daily Mail and people who liked the Katy Perry movie.
July 17, 201212 yr Author Really hoping it lives up to the hype. I have faith, but I don't like it when something's raved about as being "the best thing ever". It's why I try and avoid reviews most of the time. But anyway, I'm just going to go in with an open mind and pretend I read nothing! Have you guys seen this amazing street art?
July 18, 201212 yr Anne has received some really good reviews! A handful are below. No spoilers, don't worry! "Anne Hathaway completely blew me away, and this is coming from a guy who really isn't a fan of any of her other movies. She has her own little musical theme and represents many of the film's most comic-booky moments. I practically fell head over heels in love with her during the film. Selina's motivation during the first half of the film is a little lame, but she plays an intricate role in the entire film and it wouldn't be the same without her. The dynamic between her and Batman is wayyyy better and more fleshed out than it was in Batman Returns, mainly because Selina is a much more believable character and more like her comic book counterpart." "Anne Hathaway flirts the line between sexy and vicious very well. She is a bad broad. She captures the ambiguity of her character very well and looks sexy as hell in her get-up." "Selina was great and Hathaway nailed the character and made her own interpretation but there are many little traits from past origins that come into play." "While she doesn’t quite steal the show as Heath Ledger’s Joker did, Hathaway’s Catwoman is a magnetic presence whenever she’s onscreen and she has great chemistry with Bale. This is a more realistic take on the feline femme fatale than what Michelle Pfeiffer did 20 years ago, yet this Selina Kyle retains those key traits (the sly humor, the sexiness, the fighting prowess and stealth) that fans love about the comic book character. Selina may be the proverbial good bad girl, the thief with a heart of gold, but Hathaway imbues her with a wounded spirit and a survivor’s edge that makes her feel genuine and sympathetic even when she’s being naughty." "As slinky burglar Selina Kyle, Anne Hathaway is superb: physically dangerous, emotionally intriguing and sexy without milking it. (It’s a very different take from the Catwoman portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer, but no less enjoyable.) As ambiguous as Kyle is, her journey shares with Wayne’s a sense of struggling for a fresh start, for a clean slate, ultimately for redemption." "Perhaps the riskiest casting choice was that of Hathaway in the potentially problematic role of Selina/Catwoman, but although her kitty outfit reps a slightly more cartoonish touch than Nolan's neo-noir aesthetic typically allows (if nowhere near as campy as those worn by Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer), the versatile actress nails the sardonic, hard-edged tone necessary to make this morally ambiguous vixen a dynamic foil for the Caped Crusader." "Anne Hathaway plays one of the more alluring Catwomen since Julie Newmar, creating an incredibly complex character that straddles the line of good and bad enough that you never know whose side she's on." "Lightening the tone a touch is Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, not once referred to as Catwoman but clearly a feline figure complete with skin-tight catsuit and makeshift ears (sometimes goggles, other times a decorative hair piece). Suitably slinky, she drops her voice an octave when the bad kitty kicks in and the film's all the more fun for it - you miss her when she's not onscreen." "Hathaway effortlessly slinks through the performance, turning on seductive charm one moment then switching into a brutal ass-kicker the next. All concerns abut her performance evaporate after her first encounter with a hobbling Bruce at Wayne Manor."
July 18, 201212 yr All the 'bad' reviews I have read so far are from people who decide to dislike a film just so their opinion can be well spread! All the decent critics have said it is excellent. Hopefully going on Sunday, looking forward to it immensely, just hope nobody spoils it on social media sites!
July 19, 201212 yr Seeing this at 9am tomorrow morning, and I'm nearly peeing myself with excitement :w00t: I'm shocked, but so pleased, that Anne is getting such good reviews. I fully expected every review to single her out as being weak or miscast. She seems to be proving a lot of people wrong. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, I wish the next 12 hours would just vanish! EDIT: Ok, so I'm just back. It's EPIC!! It lived up to the hype for me I have to admit. It's long, brooding and really quite miserable for the most part. There's a real sense of foreboding throughout the whole movie. But it's just brilliant. Anne Hathaway was a revelation, and Hardy did a great job too. I want to see it again now!! It's the perfect closer to the trilogy in my opinion. And without spoiling anything, it's very emotional. There were a couple of parts that really got me. Edited July 20, 201212 yr by PaulM1983
July 20, 201212 yr Wow, Wow, Wow, mindblowing from start to finish, not even a dry patch. Anne Hathaway was perfect as Catwoman, I couldn't have ask for anyone else to fit into that role apart from Emily Blunt. Perfect movie for the summer, I can't wait to see the opening figures for the film. The ending was perfect, but I can see where its heading without giving too much away.
