Finally caved in and DL the album. Listened to it in full and i must say This girl is going to blow up BIG time. I know there is this hype over Jessie J and i was like that myself but she is miles away from Katy B musically. Its soothing,music you can bob your head to in the day, laze to in the summer sun or relax to at night. 'Go Away' is just wowwww. She has to release that and i'm certain it will hit #1. Radio 1 will back it for sure. Its a great album, not many STAND OUT tracks but all worthy and amazing in their own right. Totally in love with this girl. B)

I don't get all the love for "Witches Brew"? Like, it's amazing but "Go Away" is eaaasily the best track on there, with "Katy On A Mission", "Broken Record" and "Easy Please Me".

 

Also really pretty gobsmacked that Pitchfork gave this 8.1.

there's no one else doing what she's doing right now, i think, which is what makes her so likable. she's pulling from all these underground british genres and adding this feminine pop aesthetic, really nice

This is the biggest grower ever ... really love it now. 'Go Away', 'Disappear', 'Witches Brew' and 'Power On Me' are all hot stuff.

It's not had a single duff review or atleast from I've seen - 5 star in Metro, can't be bad! 'Broken Record' twisted my arm, so I've ordered off play.com (£6.99... Bargain!)

I love the single "On A Mission" and the other two. I don't understand why thy seem to be widely disliked. i think i will pick up the album on Friday.

'Witches Brew' is my favourite album track. :wub:

 

'Easy Please Me' must be one of the most bizarre tracks I've heard for a while. :lol:

Totally adore this album. Production is brilliant. One of the best albums of the year so far.

 

Alongside the more obvious 'Witches Brew', I'm also adoring 'Easy Please Me' at the moment.

7/10 so far...think it's definitely a grower too. A little bit samey in parts but there are some fantastic tracks here.

'Go Away' could be my hymn of this year easily. And I adore the whole album too!

Just back from buying the album, got it for £6.97 in ASDA, bargin :D.

Gave the album another try as a few songs were in my head following a trip to HMV where they played the album

Take back what i said previously. It's a good solid album. Just the last few tracks at the end are a bit weak

 

I hope Power on me is the next track. Might make a purchase soon.

Oh, i do not like the cut down version of Perfect stranger. There are just some songs that should stay their normal length. I wonder why they put a radio edit on the album, not the album version.

The production on all songs is 5/5

 

All of the songs are all 4/5 for me, apart from Easy Please Me 1/5. The lyrics make me really cringe. Lights On is 5/5.
