Does anybody think Wonderman could manage top 40 this week, then?

But I'm sure Tinie is more excited about the fact that he's top 300 on US iTunes!!!!!! I'm so happy for him. I admit, I almost cried when I found out.

No, it's far far too late to go top 40 this week. It should do next week barring it plummetting again (which it shouldn't do given it was already hovering just outside the top 40 before GN because of the video)

Which song is he top 300 with in the US? :o I can just see him suddenly becoming massive there any day. It's bound to happen soon

EDIT: 267. Written In the Stars (feat. Eric Turner) - Tinie Tempah & Eric Turner :D

I hope he does! Although if he does, I don't want him to become basically American *coughtaiocruzjayseancough*.

Miami 2 Ibiza also got to #1 on the US Dance charts a few weeks ago (which is based on airplay in clubs), so that song might do relatively well if put up for sale too.

I saw that. Although that chart is wildly insignificant, 'Happiness' got #1 there and proceeded to totally flop. Still, like gooddelta said regarding I Like That by Richard Vission being played on Floorfillers, at least it shows they're actually aware of his existence which is a start!

Fun fact: Tinie Tempah has had on average 2.7 songs in the top 100 every week since his chart début. In 47 weeks he's got this:

Pass Out - 47 weeks

Frisky - 23 weeks

Written In The Stars - 17 weeks

Miami 2 Ibiza - 16 weeks

Wonderman - 3 weeks

Invincible - 9 weeks

Game Over - 10 weeks

Eyes Wide Shut - 3 weeks

Totalling 128 weeks. :o

Wonderman  So glad it's doing well and I hope it all works out in the States too. Probably my favourite male artist out there at the moment

How well do people think 'Price Tag' will do when its released tonight? I hope it can at least go top 20 but I think theres a possibilty it can scrape the top 10 officially next week.

Given it'll have some kind of B.o.B boost (and yes, before anyone says I know "I'll Be In The Sky" is still undeservedly flopping), should really make top 5. Hope so anyway, as long as that new Enrique song isn't #1.

I'd rather Enqirue be #1 next week than Bruno again, to be honest!

I'm pretty sure Price Tag will go top 40 at the very least, purely on fanbase buys. It's had a little radio airplay too.

Glad that Bruno is back where he belongs. The Kesha song isn't on par with Grenade. What would make this even more hilarious is if he caught up to her somehow over the next few hours and grabbed the official #1 spot.

Also good to see Traktor and Coming Home holding up well.

Edited by its.like.that

Hopefully we'll have a decent #1 soon.

Jessie overtook C&S  She'd better not do that officially, I'm gonna be so annoyed if C&S miss the official top 5!

Noah And The Whale falling :(

But I'm sure Tinie is more excited about the fact that he's top 300 on US iTunes!!!!!! I'm so happy for him. I admit, I almost cried when I found out.

Am I missing something?

He's a rapper - America is even more enamoured of rap than this country is - why would him charting be a big deal?

UK rappers never do well there...

I agree - WRWWR is infinitely better. :)

Not unless you plan to personally buy many thousand copies over the next few hours. :P

Suspend your cynicism for a second. Dizzee Rascal, arguably the UK's biggest rap star up until the last few months, hasn't managed to make a US breakthrough in eight years. Any British artist, regardless of genre, sees it as a big deal to break through in the US.

Also, the shere strength in depth of US rap makes it harder for him, if anything. He's not just competing with Dizzee, Tinchy and Chipmunk but he's fighting against B.o.B, Kanye, Drake and of course Eminem on home soil.
