Personally I love it, it the first great single he has made since Come Undone IMHO.

Unlike Radio & Tripping this experiment works for me.

However I cannot see it stopping potentially the Best Pop song of 2006 - Scissor Sisters - (I) Don't Feel Like Dancing from making #1.

It may not hit #1 as there is strong competition that week, but I still think it will be a hit.

It is catchy, a different direction that will attract a new audience. It may also alienate some of the established fans. but to me that is better than never daring to experiment :)

I was really pleased with myself for being able to set up a poll.

And it seems to be working :yahoo:

Except it won't let me vote in my own poll. It says I have already voted. And I haven't.

(i was answering Dory ... not being pleased you couldn't vote Jupiter xxx)

I think it may break the top 10 ........

It's not bad at all imo. and i can't wait to hear the new album

It might be very surprising.

Well it'll be top five at least for being Robbie alone  but I think as usual only a really big song (like the Sugababes last time) will keep it off from being a #1 ;) It's nice and different and it's great to see someone like Robbie Williams do that.

I totally agree Grandwicky. It is still 5 weeks until its released, plenty of time for it to grow on people untl they've got "why u so nasty" implanted firmly in their brain.

Don't get me wrong Ossie. I'm starting to find it very very catchy.

And with about 5 weeks till it's even released I could be drilling a hole in my head by September. ;)

It is so in my brain now. I feel I have been impregnated ( brainwise :P ).

You don't sweat much for a fat lass.

gone from not keen to liking it to really, really liking it.. It is a defo grower and, like you Jupiter I cannot get the flippin tune out of my head, I also find it funny how Robbie's lyrics apply to everyday life too. I have foundmyself saying 'why are you so nasty' quite often today.

Maybe Vicky Newtface is shaking her Rudebox as we speak ( she'll never admit it though ;) )
