This video is her best video since 'Toxic'. It's absolutely amazing and the deeper meaning behind it is AMAZING. The fight scene is phenomenal! She looks amazing! The life in her eyes is the most exciting thing that has happened to pop culture in years!

Incorrect. Having a breakdown takes a long time to get over, yes. But it's been 5/6 years now?! Britney is my favourite popstar and I expect a lot from her and the last few years I've overlooked the fact she hasn't been up to scratch using that whole thing as a fair enough reason, but this is her THIRD album since then and she needs to pull her finger out! What is her contribution to this video exactly? Looking a bit odd, dancing badly and having a really good director and editor? If I wanted a robot to produce songs I'd listen to faceless electro.

I do actually like this video, I just refuse to accept that we should bow down and worship everything she does PURELY because she had a breakdown. Her dancing is beyond $h!t compared to what it used to be, and it's the only thing she's ever been able to do well. As a fan, that's disappointing.

She did break her knee TWICE. And since it hasn't been the same. I am content with this music video because she shows excitement in her eyes and the SPARK she had before her breakdown. And it has been less then THREE years since she was admitted to a mental facility.

NOW YOU KNOW.

I like how someone explained that the video is a fast paced booklet on her career even to the PP. Her rise to fame (rising up the vault with her videos behind her) to her breakdown and loss of her purity (the fall from the vault and the paint splattered all over her pure white dress and past videos). The fight scene symbolizing the battle of her past self that her fans seem to put on her more then the general public. And the ending of her ending the fight and just basically saying f*** IT this is me this is how it is.

Even one review said the sony placement was fitting because sony owns jive and is responsible for her rise. And POF symbolized her desperate search for true love ever since her scarring separation from Justin, from Jason Alexander to Kevin, to the model who sold her out after she shaved her head.

Regardless it is her deepest video ever and the symbolic nature of it, makes it my favorite music video from her EVER. Womanizer was so basic. Even Toxic was BASIC in it's concept in comparison to the deeper meaning in this video. The only video I can say that comes close to this videos depth is 'Everytime'. But this video answers all the questions indirectly and that is SUCH the BRITNEY way to do it. Discreet and mysterious, and leaves you satisfied yet wondering what's gonna happen next.

BRING ON THE PROMO PLEASE.

LOVE YOU BRITNEY.

Ha, I completely agree Tyler although I don't think the casual fan will see that and see it just as tacky product placement tbf :P. REALLY hope this becomes huge now, it's just so f***ing good not to! It really is her best since 'Toxic' imo - 'Womanizer', 'Gimme More', 'Piece Of Me' were all great but this is just on a whole other level and the video has made me realise that.

NOW BRING THE PROMO ON!

I agree the POF thing is a bit far fetched. BUT THEY SAID IT NOT ME, The obsessive nature in my soul wants to believe that is the ONLY reason she allowed it.

as Tyler said, her knee injury (that happend in 2004) has a lot to do with her dancing ability after the incident.

I think it's obvious she overcomed the breakdown, but most fans just want to bring back the 2001-2004 DANCENEY, while I choose to embrace the new Britney Spears of today. -_-

Yes Britney's a phenomenal dancer (or at least she used to be), it's arguably what stood her out amongst other pop females. But to expect her, now that she's older and had two kids etc... to try and exceed those standards again, is a bit unfair on Britney tbh. I think I blame Brian Friedman for hyping it up like she was a replica of the old Brit, but seeing as some of his choreography seemed to have been cut out (the part in the teaser in Boyans sig for instance!) I dunno if I blame him. He obviously worked hard and Britney worked her ass off to get this as perfect as she physically could. I'm not going to use the whole "breakdown" excuse anymore as it's a thing of the past and she's well over that now, but considering she's older and like I said, had two kids and stuff, her dancing is the best it possibly could be, imo.

But yeah I think the hype from Brian and Adam is probably the thing that's let the fans down the most. Not Britney's actual ability as such...

Alot of people when bringing up the dancing issue bring up Madonna's AGE. Let me remind you she tore a ligament and broke/tore the socket in her knee in 1999. In 2004 she tore ANOTHER ligament in her knee and tore the same socket again. When this happens it is a big deal, both ligament on each side of her sockets are impaired, therefore she can only do so much. She did not dance at ALL in the 'My Prerogative' video. She did some $h!tty dancing in the 'Do Somethin' video. The whole 'Blackout' era was $h!t dancing wise. The 'Circus' era was a LITTLE of an improvement. And THIS is a major improvement. She said in her rolling stones interview in late 2008 she is scared to push herself because of the pain she went through in 2004 all the way to her first pregnancy.

Do you expect her to bust it out HARD in a music video and then go to just an IMPROVEMENT from the 'Circus' tour because of her knee? I would rather not get the false advertisement. I feel she has her spark back but she will never get her dancing back and if that's a problem with you, you should stop loving her as an artist. She is obviously doing the best she can with implementing deep story lines and dancing the best she can.

THAT is MORE then enough for me because I can see she wants it again. She has that confidence. Madonna NEVER danced like Britney used to, and no one else has except for Janet Jackson and a few others that have been forgotten. Give her a BREAK and appreciate what else she can offer besides dancing.

I BLAME THE HYPE. I don't need no looooooons (Boyan) telling me I'm not a proper Britney fan because I'm not embracing the BRITNEY OF TODAY. I still love her and on third watch, this video is still good. The song is also her best since... I don't know when. Maybe in future when people claim that she's BACK etc. I should stop believing them and assume they mean "she's still a bit meh."

P.S I also forgot she broke her knee. And obv the baby thing. Tis fair enough. Still disappointed though and I shall remain so.

I want to say, i'm officially a fan of the 3-step high heeled shuffle.
