The former version took the single into the charts at #3 while the remix was released 3 weeks later when the track had fallen down to #10. The single jumped back to #5 the following week. Other remixes in the top 10 back then included the Amand Van Helden remix of Professional Widow and a mash up by the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels of Van Helden's remix of Professional Widow mixed with People Hold On by Lisa Stansfield with the track credited as People Hold On (The Bootleg Remixes) by Lisa Stansfield v The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. In addition new mixes of Don't let Go (Love) by En Vogue pushed that single back up the top 10 at the same time. I believe that Your Woman was also a remix of the track which appeared on the Abort, Retry, Fail? EP from the previous year. If so then half of the top 10 on 25/01/97 chart were remixes, with Toni Braxton at #13.
