The Chinese GP certainly was a good race.

Great drive by Webber from 18th to 3rd.

The races have all been really good so far! During the Monaco GP yesterday, when Button, Vettel and Alonso caught the Sutil and the train behind him, I knew there was gonna be a crash - very exciting though! Good to hear Petrov and Perez are ok too :)

They need to get rid of Monaco, ffs.

Ridiculous track.

If the FIA got rid of Monaco there would be an outcry that it would be like getting rid of Monza and Silverstone although Bernie tried to do that

so many times and failed

Canada- What a race, pity about the 2 hour rain delay but a fantastic drive from Button

The Canadian GP was a good and annoying race..I love it when races have incidents in as it makes it that more exciting but seeing the safety car out for long periods was rather annoying!!

What a great last lap though am sooo pleased Button won :D

The start with safety car was really unnecessary. Overall Canadian GP was the best race so far imo. Only bad thing was Nick's crash.
Yes, the Canadian GP was amazing, but the original start didn't need to be behind safety car :)

The restart had a bit too many laps behind the safety car, I felt.

Anyhow, on another note I'm glad Alonso finally put an end to Vettel's winning streak at Silverstone yesterday. It's high time Ferrari wakes up after their rather sleepy season so far however no matter what they do now I highly doubt that they're going to make very big inroads on the 112 point lead Vettel has over Alonso in the drivers championship so they may as well begin to focus on next season now along with everyone else.
Another great race yesterday - every race but Valencia has been exciting :D

yeah really good race yesterday a change on top, Perez got his highest peak in his career and Nick from P16 to P8. Nice results for everyone (apart from Mclaren).
Shame Force India got no points. Di Resta was unlucky in the points and Sutil had to make an extra stop - but looking good for the future races :)
In my opinion, Red Bull and McLaren need a sound reality check, they're getting a bit up their own behinds.. The team orders for Webber was just uncalled for.
I don't see how it was. It was in the last lap of the race, the last thing they want is for them to hit each other, it's not as if it hasn't happened before and I'm sure if it was earlier in the race nothing would've been said. I also think they'd have done it were Webber ahead of Vettel. I can't actually believe it's even been questioned. It would've been utter madness not to.

Get ready for the sound of a plunging lead balloon.

BBC and Sky awarded rights in new Formula 1 deal

The BBC and Sky Sports will broadcast Formula 1 in the UK between 2012 and 2018 under a new rights deal.

The BBC has been the exclusive broadcaster of F1 in the UK since 2009 but its contract with Formula One Management was due to expire after the 2013 season.

Sky Sports will show every race, qualifying session and practice live.

BBC Sport will broadcast half the races live, as well as the qualifying and practice sessions from those races.

Both companies will broadcast in high definition.

Races screened by the BBC will be live on the BBC Sport website for UK users.

The BBC will have highlights on TV, online and mobile for any race it is not showing live, and all races will be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 live.

Yet another sporting jewel swallowed by the Murdoch empire, albeit half so, can imagine all races being exclusive to Sky next time a deal is done -_-

Unfortunately it was always going to happen. The BBC can't really afford it, especially as it's now more popular than it has been in years, and whilst there's a conservative led government they're not going to be able to afford it either because they'll put far more pressure on the BBC to not pay such vast sums of money out. If anything this is much better than I was expecting. The BBC deal was due to expire at the end of next season and I fully expected it to all be on Sky come 2013. I just hope that the more exciting races are still on BBC; Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Canada....

Sky can have Valencia, Monza, the new Tilke circuits...

Hopefully BBC should show Australia, Monaco, Canada, Britain. Belgium, Germany, Japan, Brazil, USA, Abu Dhabi
That would be good. The only change I'd make is have Sepang in, either for Germany (it's off to Hockenheim again next year - not as good!) or USA (purely because I don't know it'll go). Ideally I'd get rid of Monaco but the BBC have confirmed they'll show the Monaco and British GPs every year, as well as the final GP.
