The song is not that strong and Pitbull ruins his own songs and just about every featured artist slot he has.I am not being a hater she is a really good performer but not sure if her fanbase is still huge.

But Britney never left the music indusrty as JLo..i mean JLo released Rebirth (gave her a #1 single) but the whole area was a fail if you compare with her previous. Then Brave total fail! Britney never had a huge fail!

 

Anw, i think she will get radio support! Probably, they can see that this is a potential hit...Plus, if she go well in US market (most possible), radio will follow this trend as usual! On the same leak is Christina Aguilera! Not a hit for...ages! Still if she release a good song why not be number 1! I understand what all of you are saying but still, i'm sure JLo is determined to return to success so i suppose she has organized every single move for this era!

These seem weird, because if they are right LG's lead has gone from 2.33x to 1.95x in about 10minutes...

I think its one of the best songs so far this year, it deserves lots of success imo :wub:

She still has a loyal fanbase, she is on peoples screens every week on American Idol and getting rave reviews for it. On The Floor is a great son

and it sounds like Love? will be an amazing album. With proper promo etc there is no reason why she can't get at least Top 10.

She's had two consecutive flop eras in a row. Well, Rebirth did get her a #1 hit, but album sales were low, so maybe you could say that was minorly successful depending on your perspective, but Brave was an undoubtable flop. Radio (and I'm talking specifically Radio 1) may be reluctant to playlist her (they've done it to many acts in the past after they were unsuccessful for a bit) and thus she needs to get them back on her side.

 

And I never said it was impossible for it to get top 10. I was only arguing against the claim it would get to #1! It's not going to happen. I can only think of Cher who kinda did that, but Cher actually never drastically lost support - she made her "comeback" way back in the 80s and was always at least somewhat successful since then (although Believe was still undoubtedly a massive hit compared to everything she did before that).

Problem is, the market is flooded - not even R1 can play urban tracks 24/7 :rolleyes: , so some songs inevitably will miss out.

 

All you can do is buy the ones you like, and hope for the best.

J-Lo is OVER, she's at the point where nothing can rescue her career (see also Janet Jackson etc). I agree 'On The Floor' is an excellent song, but it'll scrape the top 20 at the absolute best. Wait and see.

I was giving my opinion i don't say its fact or anything. But even when i loon i have some sense behind it. I don't go saying Ke$ha or Cheryl Cole will hit number 1 with all their songs because they actually don't. JLO hasnt had a hit for god knows when.

I can't see J-Lo doing much in all honesty, Do it Well only got to 11 in 2007, I think it will go low top 10 at the very best and then falling very quickly

All my friends in College LOVE it, and its my Mum's favourite song...

 

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. As long as its a Top 5 hit i'll be happy, i could possibly settle for Top 10.
