February 12, 201114 yr GaGa will be bigger but Britney will have much better album (and maybe by far) I reckon.
February 12, 201114 yr lady gaga worldwide but like jonjo said britney will probably do better than her in america cos they seem to love her there
February 12, 201114 yr Lady Gaga obviously. I love both (Gaga's my fave singer ever ) but while Britney will be bigger than ever, Gaga will sell a hell of a lot more albums, probably release more singles, so more overall sales.
February 12, 201114 yr Gaga is coming off one of the biggest albums in the last decade so she's naturally gonna be bigger, as far as content goes I'm more excited for Britney. Being a fan of both I'm not biased Born This Way is just a huge dissapointment.
February 12, 201114 yr I reckon Lady GaGa will be bigger, "Born This Way" is a hugely anthemic song compared to "Hold It Against Me" which has no individuality about it, anyone could have recorded it. I think GaGa's album and tour will be better, mainly because she is a more talented singer and sings live.
February 12, 201114 yr I just listened to both of the singles and while both are good, neither is great. Vocally Gaga is ahead as she has a better voice than Britney in my opinion. Production-wise there's not much to separate them. Born this Way has a great rattling the whole way through it. The melody in Hold it Against Me is slightly stronger. Out of 10 Born this Way 6 Hold it Against Me 6.5
February 12, 201114 yr GaGa. Born This Way is absolutely repugnant but she is coming off one of the most successful albums of the past few years. I doubt Britney will ever be up there with GaGa/Rihanna/Beyonce etc again. What does she actually do other than occasionally get out of bed to buy herself a frappuccino?

She gets through jumbo sized bags of Cheetos and gets her hair weaves reattached occasionally. If there was any glimmer of hope that Britney could go back to her peak performing days she would be in with a shot. Her live performances have become such a big let down and almost a joke.

The sad truth. Lol at the frappuccino bit. Britney's never been a HUGE seller in the UK for some reason (with the obvious exception of her debut), even though her celebrity status has just gotten bigger and bigger each year. I'm always shocked when I hear she's never had a #1 album here. I'm sure that will change soon though :) The 3 artists you mentioned are massively successful, but they have such an incredible work ethic. They promote and tour non-stop. Britney relies more on her name and the quality of the song. She's so... inaccessible these days. Britney definitely seems more family orientated as well; nothing wrong with that though.
February 12, 201114 yr Yeah I think Britney is just more about her kids and family then her career. I'm just glad she is still releasing music. But Britney has been working on the dance for HIAM for 6 weeks apparently so give her some credit and promo apparently starts heavy after the video debuts. And she did not use a body double. She fights herself in the video and one of the girls who is dressed like Britney is obviously not going to be Britney.
February 12, 201114 yr Britney's material so far is better (and if it's anything like 'Blackout', then I'm sure her album will be to), but let's not kid ourselves. GaGa is the biggest thing to happen to commercial pop music in about the last 10 years, she will trounce Britney this year.

I wouldn't call her the best in last 10 years, since digital era started yes, she's like Rihanna digital monster!
February 12, 201114 yr To be honest Gaga has not yet made a great album and Britney hasn't made a great one in eight years so I don't think it's a given that either one will be better in quality. But Fame Monster was better than Circus and Born This Way is easily better than (the very mediocre) Hold It Against Me so I'm pretty sure Gaga will win out in sales and quality.
