Posted February 12, 201114 yr They've chosen Glen Vella with One Life. EiCIV1gAwRM Not too bad I guess.
February 12, 201114 yr  although the cheap synths are mildly endearing, at least it slightly brings proceedings out of 1993, like the rest of the song is reminiscent of.
February 14, 201114 yr Actually...I kinda like this song after a couple more listens. Very 90s, and is destined for failure in the semi-final, but I'm liking it now!
February 14, 201114 yr Disappointing choice from Malta. Very dated and has nil chances. Shame as he is a good vocalist. I wish they chose these three: Kurt Calleja - "Over and Over" (3rd position) - Mid-tempo rock ballad which was well sung and performed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb0DIAzkZ7Y Wayne Micallef - "Everybody Sing" (8th position) - Another mid-tempo rock number a la The Script: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgQKZoF21ak Kellie Schembri - "Love me like your money" (last with nil points) - Very Kylie/Inna-esque and catchy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZFlRrdCBtQ Edited February 14, 201114 yr by Joinwithus
February 14, 201114 yr This was the best song I heard during the Maltese NF; CD_wZqIs7WU Seriously though, from 2002-2005, Malta were in my top 3 each year, but since then I really don't know what's happened...their entries all have a 'cheap' sounding quality to them, whereas the likes of Ira Losco, Chiara and Julie & Ludwig all had great production.
February 14, 201114 yr It's true. Malta lost it a bit lately, but I think this is a minor return to form. Quite Scandipop. My fav since Vodka
