They've chosen Glen Vella with One Life.

Not too bad I guess.

:lol: although the cheap synths are mildly endearing, at least it slightly brings proceedings out of 1993, like the rest of the song is reminiscent of.
Christ is it National Final Saturday or something?

aka Tragic Saturday

Wait for Feb 19/26, this week won't seem that crazy.
This is alright... He has a nice face which makes the song more bearable!
Actually...I kinda like this song after a couple more listens. Very 90s, and is destined for failure in the semi-final, but I'm liking it now!

Disappointing choice from Malta. Very dated and has nil chances. Shame as he is a good vocalist.

I wish they chose these three:

Kurt Calleja - "Over and Over" (3rd position) - Mid-tempo rock ballad which was well sung and performed:

Wayne Micallef - "Everybody Sing" (8th position) - Another mid-tempo rock number a la The Script:

Kellie Schembri - "Love me like your money" (last with nil points) - Very Kylie/Inna-esque and catchy:

Raquela had by far and away the best song in the NF

This was the best song I heard during the Maltese NF;

Seriously though, from 2002-2005, Malta were in my top 3 each year, but since then I really don't know what's happened...their entries all have a 'cheap' sounding quality to them, whereas the likes of Ira Losco, Chiara and Julie & Ludwig all had great production.

It's true. Malta lost it a bit lately, but I think this is a minor return to form. Quite Scandipop. My fav since Vodka :wub:
