It's in the UK Spotify charts today at #170! I love that this gets some recognition now... but it needs MORE!!!!

Awful, especially the cheesy chorus. Steps do it better.

 I hope this is sarcasm for your sake.

I recently found out that it was Gaga and her record label who messed up Judas' performance (after messing up the album's lead single) on the charts. Judas debuted at #10 on the Hot 100 selling 162,000 copies and 26M airplay, however, the song only had two and a half days of counting for its debut on the charts as they anticipated its release due to its online leak. Billboard estimated the song would sell 350-400k on a regular weekly release. Judas would only need 80% of BTW's debut score to hit #1 that week (421 points).

Now I understand why Gaga says that her biggest enemy is herself.

The first 3 singles from the BTW era were scuppered because of the release days (in the UK at least) - but yeah the US was similar for this too. A shame :(

But TEOG was released on a Monday, as a promo single. The only thing that went wrong with this single was its amateur video.

It was released at 9pm on Monday 9th May. The tracking week in the UK was Sunday - Saturday, so it missed almost 2 whole days of sales?

I didn't know that, how weird, why start tracking week on a Sunday? So BTW and Judas only had two days of counting and TEOG five days, what a bad move.

Our chart show used to air on Sunday and most releases back then were on the Sunday at midnight, it was always interesting to see how those Saturday physical sales effected the charts post midweek.
