You will definitely like the generic dance-pop one :P ANd perhaps the breezy soul-pop one too.

Then I will wait for the day when it gets revealed.

I LOVE myself some catchy generic dance pop tunes. Good music is good music and nothing else :D

Eva Simons for BJSCXLIII

Former BJSC landslide winner Eva Simons will represent Unovia in the upcoming 43rd contest, it has been revealed. She will sing her track 'I Don't Like You' at the semi final in Botanikka this week, hoping to go further than last month's Anjulie, who failed to even qualify for the final with her track 'Stand Behind The Music' despite great odds. Of course nothing is certain, but Unovia has an air of confidence with Eva, as the track is in a style traditionally popular in BJSC, and her previous form saw her track Silly Boy win the 19th contest for Kathaldazia back in August 2009 by a margin of almost 100 points.

I happened to hear this suddenly when I was browsing through music blogs. Definitely a great track! ^_^

Glad to see you approve, I'm loving it a lot right now ^_^ It's no Silly Boy but hardly anything is!

WHY are we never in the same semi-final? :(

Good luck, ChrIseland really like your entry! :D

Ikr, we always love each other's entries yet don't get a chance to vote for them :( Well, until the finals if we qualify.

Good luck with Sisse as well, a likely top 10 there ^_^

Eva Simons brings another DNQ

It was yet again disaster for Unovia last night, as the country DNQ'd for the second month in a row. Despite winning the contest back in 2009 with her track Silly Boy (a huge hit in Unovia), Eva's new cut I Don't Like You failed to impress the largely pop voters in her semi final, and the track came 17th with 43 points, which was a whole 15 points off qualifying. Despite this, the 6 BJSC tracks that currently reside in Unovia's top 40 are through to the final, so it seems Unovia are somewhat able to keep up with the tastes. However, Queen Naya Rivera has promised to 'step things up a gear' in the search for Unovia's next representative, in order to avoid another dreaded DNQ.

Helena Guttara set in motion for XLIV

After a disappointing two consectutive DNQs, Unovia are hoping to be back with a bang with the favoured Scandipop sound, after Anjulie's pop/R&B and Eva Simons dance-pop failed to impress. Swedish songstress Helena Gutarra, who was a contestant on Sweden's edition of The Voice, will perform her debut single Tongues Of Fire at the semi final in Aquihabare, Numayania in hopes that the track, which has been compared to a slightly rocky Dancing On My Own by Robyn, will manage to impress with it's Scandipop sound, which is traditionally known as one that succeeds within BJSC. Nova Delai is slippering into Kinë!

http://www.scandipop.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/novadelaisis-e1338200059191.jpg

It was revealed tonight that young Swedish singer Nova Delai would represent Unovia at the 45th Buzzjack song contest, which is being hosted in Kinë, Elëdan this month. She will sing her song Slippering Into Sleep in the 2nd semi final, competing against 24 other tracks for a place in the final. Nova's participation comes after a string of bad luck for Unovia, with DNQs from Anjulie in XLII with Stand Behind The Music, Eva Simons in XLIII with I Don't Like You and (an especially surprising turn of events) early favourite Helena Gutarra with Tongues Of Fire in XLIV. The first odds from Elëdan suggest Nova is 2nd most likely to win at 14/1 behind current landslide favourites Ramyrnia, who are represented by Icona Pop with I Love It. ''It's a promising start,'' Queen Naya Riveria said at the official press confrence, ''But after what happpened with Helena, I think Unovia will always be a bit hesisitant to think we've got it. Nevertheless, I and my people are pleased with Nova and wish her the best of luck - we believe she can bring us back to the top 10!''

Nova Delai slippers out of the contest

In a contiunation of shockingly bad luck, Unovia had a 4th straight DNQ with Nova Delai's Slippering Into Sleep, despite having average odds of 15/1 to win, and being as hgh as 9/2 with some bookmakers. Slippering Into Sleep finished 22nd out of a field of 25, managing just 35 points - a full 16 off the 15th placed qualifier. Nova was visibly upset upon hearing the result, but the track still rides high on Unovian iTunes, currently sitting in the top 3. Queen Naya Riveria will apparently release an official statement regarding the mega flop soon.

Thanks!

Wish I had given you a few more too actually, I tend a penalise a bit if I already know the song (obviously not your fault but it happens in a tough semi), but sadly it wouldn't have helped if I just gave you 2 or 3 more :(

Shame for you not qualifying Liam, you were one of the people in contenders for my 10th point. It's just I think the semi was so strong overall and had difficulty in voting :(

I seem to have been just outside lots of votes, I'll give myself a pretend special award for that :P

Thorunn Antonia not so high

http://www.scandipop.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/thorunnAntonia.jpg

There was yet more disappointment for Unovia BJSC wisem, as their entry So High finished 29th out of 30, and receiving less votes than any other entry this month. Despite being the first Unovian entrant to qualify since Dia Frampton all those months ago, Thorunn Antonia didn't exactly light up the scoreboard, scoring only 51 points. Average odds had suggested a 9th place finish for Thorunn, and Unovians had said they'd be happy with anything mid-table or more. President of the BJSC commitee Liam Unocastellia stated he was very disappointed as So High was an entry many Unovians had confidence in, but it was a promising sign that it finally qualified after the country had struggled to do so for so long. He also confirmed that vague 'teasers' of possible entries are to be released later on today.

f(x) to shock Aeorche

http://seoulbeats.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/19606-f-x.jpg

In a beautiful showcase in the city of Flynt. Aeorche last night, this month's entries to the Buzzjack Song Contest were unveiled in a lavish ceremony. Facing a field of 25 rival tracks in the second semi final are Korean group f(x), representing Unovia with their track Electric Shock. They have faced the Buzzjack world twice before, making the final on both accounts but getting their best finsih with Nu Abo in XXX, coming 17th for New Caprica. After a shocking run of DNQs and a 29th place, Unovia hope that f(x)'s brand of K-Pop with a western twist can win over both the core K-Pop audience and countries of different tastes in the Buzzjack world as well. There have yet to be odds and predictions for any entries, but Unovia have been drawn in a semi with noted K-Pop lovers Daheun (who sent f(x) a couple of months ago) and Keypopian Republic, as well as Hendinia and Mdiče who have expressed their love of the track.

Guy Sebastian; Lupe Fiasco Battle for supremacy in BJSC48

http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/hrstumpde/Soundtrack/2011%20Posts/2011%20June/Guy%20Sebastian/571665-guy-sebastian.jpg

Australian singer Guy Sebastian has been revealed as the representative for Unovia in the 48th Buzzjack Song Contest, to be held in Aeorche for the 2nd month in a row. Sebastian previously was in the running to represent Unovia at their very first contest, with his Jordin Sparks duet Art Of Love, but ultimately lost out to Alex Young. US rapper Lupe Fiasco assists Guy on his new single Battle Scars, which as an urban sounding R&B track is a new direction for Unovia and something that head of the Unovian BJSC Comittee Liam Unocasteliia has described as a 'risk'. The track has already hit number 1 in Unovia, and Unocastellia added he hopes that 'it can appeal to the Buzzjack world'. This follows a streak of bad luck for Unovia, not achieving a top 10 since Dia Frampton in BJSCXLI; including a run of 4 consecutive DNQs. The predictions suggest Guy has a good chance of qualifying, with 2/2 so far, although initial odds from Aeorche offer 150/1 odds of Guy winning the contest.
