Serbia are pretty certain I'd say, they need to send a truly dire song (a la 2009) not to qualify.

I LOVED that song!!! Better than their 2010 offering, that's for sure.

They were both horrendous imo! Serbia are easily the most overrated country in the contest, well maybe tied with Turkey...

Serbia 2007 and 2008 were amazing. 2009 was dire. 2010 was quite good!

Germany are so going to Top 5 this bitch all over again... and send Lena in 2012. :lol:

German public instantly fell in love with TBAS, i don't see why Europe won't :wub:

You don't know about a girl good song Mr Jentina.
It's so much more than that. I've had it in my head all day at work, it's all about her 'it's a cra-zay business' ad-libs :wub: And the instrumental part in the middle 8!

TBAS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Satellite.

"But she's so mean, he thinks she has to be the one" :heart:

I'm totally in love now. 'Risky business' indeed!

Love her usual fake British accent too :lol:

'spin me row-ned again'

I love "you forgot to come your hair" :kink:

Seriously though, it's a really good song, and it does have a chorus Tirren. Easily in my top 3 of the year so far (not hard).

It's 'calm', which makes more sense i think. :lol:

She could sing the phone book and I'd love it, I'm such a Lena loon :drama: It helps though that I find this song incredible. I hope she proves people wrong in May and gets a decent finish, god knows she did last year! From the AKOE blog pre-final last year;

Up there with Azerbaijan as the most hyped entry of the year. The wost mockey accent since Dick Van Dike in "Mary Poppins" and Lena is still a VERY irritating performer on stage, not engaging with camera until the last minute and they are trying to disguise the singer's obvious discomfort with lots of long shots. Still not in the Top 10, despite a good (and now a lot better) draw.
I think that they have softened to blue lighting with paler blues. Lena is finding the camera better. I think this may do what the U.K. did last year and get a much better result, because of the draw. Top 10 is now a possibility.

Sorry, when was top ten NOT a possibility? It's a song contest not a 'present a perfect vocal' contest and the song was already beginning to smash around Europe pre-contest, I noticed it in numerous iTunes charts on the day before the final.

And lest we forget;

I would usually agree with Rich on quite alot especially when it comes to Eurovision but in this case I think Lena is being vastly overhyped on here, and elsewhere. It seems like the hype about her back in Germany influenced the bookies and that in turn has influenced alot of fans into thinking this stands a chance. OK it is a good song, so I'm not claiming that people on here are purely going by the bookies etc. but I just cannot grasp how this possible screams winner. She has a certain charm but not nearly enough to compensate for her voice like Alexander had.

I'm prepared to eat humble pie on May 30th, and I've done it before (Maria anyone?) but right now I'm 90% sure that this ain't going top ten.

Ah humble pie, I believe I took a small slice myself upon seeing Chanee & N'Evergreen's top 5 finish (I was VERY worried after the first two votes). Feel free to quote me saying this in a year's time if I turn out to be shamefully out;

Eric Saade will NOT finish in the top ten of ESC in 2011. Aaaand, just for laughs;

Jennifer Braun - Bee - very pleasant, can't see it doing an awful lot in ESC, reminds me of Missy Higgins actually or a Colbie Caillat song but with a more powerful (note, not better) vocal 8.5/10

Lena - Bee - This song suits her voice a hell of a lot more. I'm not sure if the Eurovision audience would take to her quirky voice but then I think Jennifer has nothing distinct about her and would probably have less of a chance to do well. If Lena sent this it could quite easily return Germany to the top ten in my opinion - great. 9/10

Jennifer Braun - Satellite - ballad alert for song two :drama: she is singing this terribly, not good at all. This would get completely lost in the ballad pack and come last I reckon. 5/10

Lena - Satellite - well it's not a ballad anymore! it's been turned into a jaunty strummer. Much much better but still not as good as Bee, and wouldn't do much in the final, it's not that strong a song. Love the vocals though. 7.5/10

'Not that strong a song', only my EOY #1 after all. But I never doubted her vocals :kink: Of course my opinion of it 'not doing much in the final' changed about 2 hours later.

I love the dark haunting element to Taken By A Stranger. I've had the line 'Taken by a stranger' in my head all day :lol:
I'm not saying Taken By A Stranger won't necessarily do well - I'm aware of such dangers. However, without wishing to sound like Phil (:kink:) I'm pretty certain top ten is guaranteed for Eric if he gets sent.

I do Hyperbole, not predictions :P

And if anything i either under-predict or declare it cum-worthy and predict it'll be a global #1 for the rest of the decade :heehee:

Definitely Lena >>>>>>> Eric (what a weird comparison). And he is definitely not cum-worthy. A bit of a masculinity exclusion zone.
Oh Tom, you're so biased :( Unless it's covered in fur it isn't a man to you!
