Posted February 16, 201114 yr All of you will probably lol at this, but I just read on Digital Spy that Paris Hilton is releasing her second album 'in the next few months'!!!!!!! I for one loved 'Paris', and I really think she's very underrated as a singer because of her other escapades... :( Nothing In This World is one of the best pop/rock songs of the last 5 years imo! I can't wait to see if she'll go electro (a la Lady Gaga etc.) or she'll stay pop/rock and R&B!!! Say what you want - HATERZ GON HATE!
February 16, 201114 yr I am actually excited for this. I love Paris ^_^ Nothing In This World is a brilliant track, and although the last album had some weak points, it also had some very strong ones too :wub:

February 16, 201114 yr I can quite honestly say that Nothing In This World is one of Dr Luke's best productions. Such an uplifting song, and the video was INSPIRED. Heartbeat off the debut album was great too. My heart beats like a DRUM When I hear you COME Such filthy undertones.

She don't sound that half bad and with the wonders of technology these days she could be the next Mariah Carey! Anyway seriously, This could be quite interesting to see what she comes up with :D

February 17, 201114 yr I don't even get the Paris Hilton hate. I actually admire her. She's made the most of her situation. She's got so much dollar that she could easily sit back and never leave her penthouse suite but she's tried her hand at everything - acting, singing, presenting. She might not be any GOOD but she clearly has career ambitions so I say good for her. I take a similar view on Kim Kardashian. She's hardly Kerry Katona anyway.

If you read my comments in the Cannibal thread you'd see that I'm having a major love in with her. HOWEVER I am pointing out that you can't really criticise Paris Hilton for speak-singing when literally half of Ke$ha's songs consist of the exact same thing - Sleazy, Dinosaur, Tik Tok, Boots & Boys, Crazy Beautiful Life. I could go on. I am however aware that she can sing (very well) too. So stop thinking I'm out to get you. It was an innocent observation.

Apologies it just seemed that way as you brought her out of the blue. But my point being is that at least with Ke$ha she still shows a range of her abilities throughout her album whereas Paris Hilton is pretty much the same throughout. And while I do appreciate a bit of the Hilton, (I do think she can be quite funny, The Simple Life was one of the best things to be shown on 4Music) I don't think music is her pathway....
