Anyone still remember Mary Byrne from last years X-factor one of the few acts that did not resort to miming and loud backing tracks (Mime Direction, Cher, Belle Ami,Cheryl). Will release her debut album Mine & Yours next month. The former Tesco employee's LP, produced by Nigel Wright, will be released by Sony Music in Ireland on March 25 and the UK on March 28.The full tracklisting of Mine & Yours is as follows.

How will she fare or alas will it be spillage in aisle 14 Ms Byrne once again. The dreaded lazy Syco approach of cover versions stacked upon cover versions yet again but it may do well with the over 60s market.

1. 'This Is A Mans World'

2. 'I Just Call You Mine'

3. 'Something'

4. 'You're My World'

5. 'I Who Have Nothing'

6. 'The Way We Were'

7. 'Galileo'

8. 'My Life'

9. 'You Don't Have To Say You Love Me'

10. 'All I Want Is You'

11. 'Always On My Mind'

12. 'Unbreakable'

Why doesn't she release it 2 weeks earlier to cash in on the Mother's Day market? Either way, it's gonna be a loads of balls.

I am interested to see whether Unbreakable is actually the Westlife song, as it would have been her winners single.

GUTTED that Could It Be Magic isn't included!

YAWN!

could it get any more predictable? I do actually feel for her slightly, she is just being used as a quick way to make a bit of cash, and then disposed of after

Sounds awful! :puke2: No doubt gonna be at least a top 5 album though! :(
well it's not like I'm interested in this, but surely she's more interesting than rebecca ferguson, who everyone seems to love?
Get back on till 13 love.

hahahahahaha, couldn't have put it better myself!

it will go number 1 in Ireland and top 10 in the UK but will fall like a rock after the first week

Isn't Mother's Day April 4th this year?

This album was her pay off for not continuing with her 'I was robbed' line of publicity just after she was, how shall we say, 'controversially' ousted in favour of that awful chav 'rapper'. Back to Tesco by the Summer?

April 3rd, Sunday after release, so it could work well with people looking for something to buy last minute.

With any luck she'll take Cher with her.

I'd rather have dull Rebecca with a decent album over Mary with an album full of covers

Well that's ridiculous - who on earth decided that!? Mother's Day is and always has been the third Sunday of March...

Does Mothers Day change dates? I thought that was Easter?

Anyway, she is just an Irish SuBo, I might download one or two of the tracks but not gonna waste my money on the whole thing.

No it hasn't. My Mum's birthday is on 11th March and it's been on the same day as Mothering Sunday or after it before.
