I've never had a song that's made me cry...but ones that have made me almost:

Adele - Someone Like You

Nerina Pallot - Sophia

Regina Spektor - Samson

Shakira - Lo Que Mas

Beyoncé - Resentment (this is really weird...but the bit after all the shouting is just so tear jerkingly amazing)

Christina Aguilera - You Lost Me

As you can see, it's mainly female piano ballads that make me well up.

The Sugababes tracks 'Stronger' and 'Ugly' are basically my anthems. Whenever i feel really really $h!tty i put them on and start to feel better from the second Mutya's incredible vocals start.

The track 'Sound Of Goodbye' from their Catfights & Spotlights album made me cry on the night of Keisha's departure. Twas the only song to make me do so and i played their ballads for 4hours that night. So it makes me a lil emotional now.

Sugababes - Change

Beyonce - Halo

Mariah Carey - We Belong Together

Celine Dion - Think Twice

Edited by Gaga for Glee!

Aw, Sound of Goodbye was so relevant then. It's beautiful :)

Adele - Someone Like You - Currently reminding me of a girl that I really fancied last summer before she went to uni and then last night I went down town with some friends and saw her again, she must be back for the weekend or something, and then heard this song this morning and it reminded me of her. To make matters worse she looks hotter now than before she went to uni as she's lost loads of weight.

Evanescence - My Immortal - Reminds me of a night when me and the girl mentioned above got close but not in that way. :(

Laura Marling - Failure - Just a really sad song that helped me through a bad time.

That is pretty great in the bridge.

Someone like You seems to be hitting everyone.

I don't think the studio version is that emotional it's the live version at the BRITs where Adele is getting all emotional that got me. Plus I saw an interview with her backstage in which she said that the reason she was crying is because she knew the ex was watching it thinking "I've still got her wrapped around my little finger", or words to that effect.

It really was. Gave a whole new meaning to the track which was already utterly stunning

Leona Lewis 'Run', it came out exactly the same time around my grandad died so I hold a lot of sentimental value with it.

Sarah Dawn Finer - I Remember Love

admittedly watching it as the music to this video didn't help;

and Elsiane - Vaporous - so haunting.

tale as old as time from beauty and the beast is a bit of a tear jerker for me. brings back so many memories

Oh yes, true beauty (the song and not the video)

Gotta add Amarte Es Todo by J-Lo, stunning.

Adele - Someone Like You

Kelly Clarkson - Save You

Pink - Eventually

Pink - Glitter In The Air

Kelly Clarkson - Up To The Mountain (even though it's not her song)

Paramore - Misguided Ghosts

Anastacia - Maybe Today

Eventually is just so... wow! I think it's P!nks best song.. if I can point out a best among all of her good ones. What I meant to say is, I can totally understand why you put Eventually there, it's beautiful and heartbreaking! I always sing along!

I thought I was the only one that adored that song so much  It's so honest and personal

Adele - Someone like you

Kelly clarkson - Because of you/Behind these hazel eyes/Already gone

Sugababes - Denial

Christina Aguilera - Hurt

Leona lewis - Here i am

Robyn - Dancing on my own

Adele - Someone Like You

I love the song but really just try and avoid hearing it as much as I can  reminds me of my ex who I was engaged to for 10 months last year and I ended it in December. Now Evancescene - My Immortal, I've got it on can finally really relate to it. Urgh foul mood now

Sugababes - Denial

How?

I'm not saying you're wrong for getting emotional to Denial, i just don't really understand how the track would make someone cry.
