You have to view these things in relative terms. The vast majority of artists in the world would kill to have GaGa's UK sales with the new single. But we aren't talking about the 'vast majority' we are talking about the world's biggest pop star, something GaGa fans are only too willing to proclaim. Well, with that form of proclaiming comes the harsh reality that she will be judged by that criteria - you create that hype and her new single doesn't live up to it and you have to take it on the chin. Relatively speaking, BTW hasn't performed well in the UK so far. Agreed?

 

If the live version [of SLY] gets any kind of airplay it could be another Love Is all Around Me (chart success wise, it's a far better song)....I believe they deleted that single after 15 weeks at the top to give other artists a chance!

 

 

I'm assuming that is not combined? If not, she [Adele] surely is looking at another week at number 1. Once the inevitable airplay kicks in, I swear this could be another 'Love Is All Around Me' type situation (IIRC the record company deleted that after 15 weeks on top so other singles got a chance!)

it looks like they'll only be two new entries- Alexis Jordan and Clare Maguire, although I think the Glee tracks could make a slightly bigger impact, they were hindered by the BRITs effect last week, this week is very quiet, so they could even manage top 20

Shindy its not really 'easily' as its taken quite a while and its still not top 10, it will make it but its taken quite a long while, hope it isnt too late to make it officially, but i'm sure she'll climb to at least #7 with top 10 effect. :)

Clare is now top 30 so she's fairly safe for top 40 now I reckon. The EP is at #22 on the album chart as well. I think it may be top 20 in the first mids.

 

Unfortunately Justine Beaver will likely make the top 40 as well :puke: Whoever decided that STD was worthy of his own film deserves to be hanged.
